I hear nebulisers help dislodge gunge and prevent further infections due to a cold ? What nebulizer please? What to put in it ?

Hi, you need first to talk to your health professional , as the medication for a nebuliser has to be prescribed.

There are other devices and breathing exercises that can help dislodge gunk.....your doctor or nurse can advise.

Knitter is right, you need to discuss with your respiratory team or GP or consultant. It was how I discovered that saline which is commonly used and helps so many people actually worsens my condition. So be ware. Investigate thoroughly.

The GP refuses to send a mild emphysema patient to a pulmonary rehab specialist !

And I had read that a nebulizer with hydrogen peroxide and colloidal silver can help x
