Interesting to read about the state of GP’s and the NHS and how bad it is, but personally I can’t find much to complain about if I’m honest. Following yet another trip to my GP at 9.30 this morning, I am currently in the Rapid Assessment Unit at Hospital, on a nebuliser being ‘vaporised’ as the nurse put it 😆 The treatment has been patient and thorough and the team that have dealt with me so far have been second to none. Not that I want to be admitted, but if that’s what they decide I’m not too worried at this point. It helps having my lovely wife here with me though 😛 Take care all and keep smiling 😘

Welcome to the R.A. Unit
Hi Brian I haven't been around since hardly the start of this year and had been wondering how you're doing. I'm trying to catch up on everyone's news but I'm sure I've missed a lot. I'm sorry to know you're back in the hospital. Did all the tests you were having a few months ago shed some light on what's going on with you? It's good to know you're being well looked after and having family with you is a blessing too.
Hi HungryH, nice to hear from you. The results from the TIA were inconclusive, so I’m none the wiser. I’m now on my second exacerbation of the year, and this one is getting no better so the GP has sent me in for tests. Fingers crossed they let me go home 😉 How have you been? x
You get well Brian and don’t let them “vaporise” you away will you 😆
Glad your lovely wife is with you.
Wishing you well. Xxx 😘
Sorry to hear you are not well Brian but pleased they are treating you so well, hope your back home soon x
Hope you are feeling better soon
Thank you 😊
Hopefully all checks will be through soon and all news is good. My problem is the damp weather affecting my chest. So not been out much. Which I do get fed up and bored hubby ok pottering plant bulbs in pots.and doing his odd jobs in the garage. Will not let me near the garage because of the dust affecting my chest. Get well soon forgot to add like you my hospital have been really good great nurses and doctors and of course the tea ladies who give me extra biscuits
I honestly can’t fault them Spacecat. They are lovely and polite and helpful. Trouble is, people aim their anger at the government (not just the current one) at doctors and nurses. It’s not their fault. They can’t be blamed for lack of funds/staff/equipment etc. Hope your chest improves soon so that you can start being more active again. Take care x
Great to hear of such wonderful care.
Have to agree with you on that Brian, NHS hospital care is second to none in my opinion.
That said I do feel a lot has to do with ones own attitude towards the staff.
Hope you feel better very soon and will be back home before you know it.
Good wishes for a speedy recovery.
