Evening all. Hope you are all feeling well. I’ve got my latest COPD review tomorrow morning.
Currently using saline through my nebuliser as I’m feeling tight chested. My pulse is down at 81 and my BP is 138/88. We check my obs and write them in a little book most days, and it’s made me realise that my pulse is often low. I know I suffer with hypertension and take Ramapril for that, so the BP doesn’t surprise me. It’s not ‘that’ high anyway, even though it’s raised.
Fingers crossed I’ll be ok for tomorrow. My daughter and SIL have parked their new camper van in a Holiday park close to us so we are hoping to stay with them tomorrow afternoon into Saturday.

Well Dr Ski's with a pulse of 77 says that resting pulse is damned near perfect and certainly not low? Bp is a tad high but nothing remarkable and i am now off duty and unavailable for call outs, have a nice day out Brian and i am sure you will pass the review with flying colours.
I’m disappointed Dr Ski’s, your fees are exorbitant for a Doctor that’s not prepared to do call outs. I’ll have to consult my Old Boot Makers Almanac instead 😛 😎
Given that you will survive both copd and IPF i have set you on a course of direct debit renewals annually so your account will be automatically debited this time next year.please advise if credit card details are changed as i should hate to miss my next payment.
Good morning. Hope you are doing ok. The weather hasn’t been great has it. Yesterday was particularly grim. Fingers crossed decent weather returns soon xx
I'm OK I guess been put on anti depressants as not coping too well and also being tested for polymyalgia and arthritis as I'm in so much pain atm, also been diagnosed with mild sleep apnea but no treatment needed as not bad enough,, oh OK I'll just wait till I have heart attack in my sleep then till you offer me treatment lol. Hey I'll get there like my mom says brush yourself down and start again xx
Sorry to hear that you’ve been struggling with it all. Sometimes it feels like it’s all being thrown at you at once. Like you, I’d love a bit of ‘normal’ for once. Just a week of doing normal things and not having my various health issues on my mind every day. I’d also like to win the lottery and meet Paul McCartney. Maybe sing a duet with him 😛😘 xx
Have you seen Limboland by Bill Bailey? It's the DVD of his stand up comedy show. In it there's a sketch where he meets Paul McCartney. I laughed so hard I almost couldn't breathe. Really. So be warned if you're planning to watch it. I realized I hadn't laughed like that for years. It felt good to laugh so hard but also a little scary because it felt like I'd forgotten how to laugh. Anyway Bill Bailey gets rather tongue tied meeting Sir Paul and I thought, that's exactly how I'd be if ever I met Paul McCartney!
Bill Bailey is very funny, and a skilled musician. I think I have all his DVDs, including his Guide to the Orchestra. There aren't many comedians I like because they seem either to be vulgar or get their kicks by insulting people but Bill Bailey I really like. Comedy is a very individual thing of course.
Hey Brian I don’t want to intrude on your weekend. I hope you’re having a great time. But, I was just reading that Bill Bailey is starting a tour next month called Bill Bailey : Larks in Transit. Hopefully this will mean a new DVD too!
Hi Brian, Wishing you a Good Few Days away and resting I hope. Like you I have dozens of little Note Books full of my Daily Stats. Every Day they change, so not to worry, (unless they go through the roof). Had the Oxygen Nurses here on Wednesday, my Ox level dropped to 88 and I was told the reason I am always Tired/Fatigued was the carbon dioxide levels are too high. I thought it was because my Valves have stopped working? CT Scan later today. Hope they find my Bling and put them right asap. Wishing you well Hun. XXX
Wishing you all the best for your appointment today. Hopefully your valves will be sorted out and put right. Skis has spare bling now because he keeps misplacing his so maybe he’ll share. Maybe if it’s the carbon dioxide that’s been the problem, things can start to improve for you now? I really hope so! Hoping everything goes well for you 💐
Thank You HH for your Kind words, I think, going back in time June 2018, I had my Bling (4), before Ski's,(Nov)(5 Bling) I am sure he Begged me to Loan him a couple. Look at him now on Tread Mill and Being Fitter, as I was. Haha, Want my Bling back Please. Have a Great weekend Hun. Love n Hugs XXX
Yes they are Brian, I have the Photo's to back this up, Not showing though. I lived in Spain for 28 Years so. Grandchildren & Great GD, are all Spanish. The Girls still maintain the Spanish Tradition of Sevillanas(Dancing) in The May Fair. My 5 year (GG) old now, is into Modern Dance and competes all over Spain, Going to Rome in July for the Finales. I so miss living there. XXX
Well, despite everything else Trimbow seems to be helping slightly. My numbers are up a bit - still stage three but any improvement is a good thing 😎😎😎
Strangely, the GP has no record of my hospital discharge letter, no record of my referral for PR, no record of referral to visits at home from chest nurse etc etc....ah well. Onwards and upwards 😎
