Back on prednisone 20mg for 5 days nebulizer every 4 hrs. I Ben getting like big ball of mucus/ phlegm in my throat can’t get up like blocks my air way I gotta like swallow to clear anyone get that feeling before? I can’t get it up when I try either

He prescribed Fostair 200/6 on a MART regime (I know it is not recommended but he was OK with this) and Nacsys Recently went on to Azithromycin 3 times a week and 3% saline nebulizer twice a day.

Recently went on to Azithromycin 3 times a week and 3% saline nebulizer twice a day. My last visit he said that the diagnosis is now Yellow nail syndrome with interstitial oedema and mild bronchiectasis and he prescribed Oramorph for the cough.

Took my reliever and came down stairs and went on my mini nebulizer with just saline. This helped but it scared me. I have been very inactive recently due to other health problems and get out of breath sometimes.

I have started using a nebulizer with saibutamol and sodium chloride mixed together 2 or 3 times a day, the lung specialist said I could use it up to 4 times a day. Am pretty sure my lung function test will show my lungs have worsen a lot.

Hi, can anyone recommend a good nebulizer to help clear the phlegm in my throat using a saline solution as I have Bronchiectasis and am finding it very difficult to shift. I am on carbosistine and also is the huffing method. Any advice would be very much appreciated

I had another xray and spent some time on the nebulizer that didn't help at all. After seeing two doctors who both confirmed that it was a type of pneumonia and my lungs had an infection. They made an appointment for me to see a lung specialist on Monday morning.

Sent home with blue nebulizer and steroids. Since then I have had repeated attacks of wheezing and terrible coughing which again have been treated with antibiotics and steroids.

I was already after a nebulizer dose. Surely, there was no differnece in spirometery, and they refused to write down in the report that the test was flawed.

it properly I managed on 3 attempt it settled I had cuppa and decided go hospital blood preasure high but not surprising did bloods I thought I would have had chest xray but didn't they said oxagen levels 97 there was no infection and vitals perfectly normal so I said would I need a nebulizer

I did have yet another xray and a nebulizer while I was there for the 5 hours.

I don't use oxygen, only Trimbow and Salamol inhalers; and if I have an exacerbation I have a rescue pack in hand (Doxycycline and Prednisolone) and a nebulizer.

Can I get a Nebulizer on Perscription for my Copd as I am getting more Breathless and the Inhalers don't work very well for me.What symptoms did you have so you could have a Nebulizer? IreneMatthews.😂😅

Or, do you now take it via a nebulizer instead? If yes, can you share the name of the nebulizer device and the manufacturer of the cromolyn/chromoglycate solution? Pubmed indicates it's less effective than albuterol/ventolin/sabultamol in clinical studies.

I had to quickly move my kids inside dripping wet and get my portable nebulizer. Eventually i was ok but i wasnt ok and was about to call 911. Im already on advair 500 with spiriva. does anyone else feel like this??

I was prescribed pulmacort for nebulizer to help in addition to my regular meds (advair, monulokast Spireva). No help. We discussed biologic treatment and I was told I didn't fit the criteria for insurance coverage. The cough remained.

Paramedics were called and he recovered after receiving nebulizer treatment. Now, he has been told he no longer will be allowed to have a seat in his rowing team, alternatively he is allowed to cox. He is devastated.
