Two years on.
When I was in hospital I was seen by a teaching Proffessor who said that i Should be on a
nebulizer
and have one at home as my asthma is so bad. What I want to is should I Push my doctor to give me or should I just stay on my puffers which only work 50% of the time.

A Carer's frustration
He doesn't use his
nebulizer
or Spiriva inhaler either, only Fostair and Ventolin. Every day I am practically begging him to let me help him get washed and changed, to use his oxygen and to keep moving regularly but he brushes me off.

Home Nebuliser
Hi All, It's that time of year again for me when the hay fever kicks in setting off my asthma, I saw my consultant a couple of weeks ago & he wants me to have a nebuliser at home as I avoid going to A&E even when I know I should, because I have non wheezy asthma - prompting inexperienced Drs to tell

Kenalog
Hi - sorry in advance if this turns into a moany post. I am having a mixed reaction to the kenalog injection I had last Monday. So far the big positive is a big improvement in my skin - it is normally covered in allergic rashes and eczema and there still is rashy bits but not nearly so much. Asthma

Nebuliser for first time
I have just been seen by an ambulance crew and nebulised for the first time. It was scary because my reliever wasn't having any effect and I had difficulty speaking. Fortunately I felt a lot better after the nebuliser. Off to see a doc in a few hours. My peak flow has been declining over the past couple

Predisone & nebulizer to Azithromysin
Hi, I got my emphysema diagnosis 7 years ago, though I knew it was coming years before that from smoking for 48 years. Last winter I was in terrible shape with an exacerbation that lasted 6 months. I had five stints of prednisone and was put on oxygen. I went from inhalers to nebulizers and recovered

Long term pred users
How long have some of you been on prednisilone? Years? Sadly it's looking increasingly likely I will be taking it long term because inhaled steroids simply have little or no effect. The doctors have expressed concern about the long term side effects but I have little option - without them I would almost
