Not nsure on the Nebs, because the last time,4yrs ago,it appeared to start up an

exacerbation. This may have been a coincidence ,not sure. But have not used it since

and probably have maybe three exacerbation's a year. Now we are all different so please

do not take it as read.I do however use a Spiriva Respimat Inhaler. This makes it far easier

to take the meds,in that it comes out in like a smoke form which you inhale slowly,as

opposed to having to almost inhale deeply.

This maybe of some help to you,l cannot be sure.Perhaps you could suggest to GP ??

Hi merryxmas2013

I have been in the same boat as you with the same antibiotics and all the other crap that simply went nowhere so I researched other areas of help. I refused to take any more steroids like prednisolone as my weight has spiraled out of control and had more exacerbation's and the same chest infection of psuedomonas, contracted bad bout of pneumonia after getting the flu jab, ended up in hospital for 16 days, which did not help with making any improvement.

Now I have managed to bring the condition under control to at least get the mucus moving out by using the Aerobika device.......

trudellmed.com/aerobika

getyourbreathback.com/

I also use my Spiriva Respimat Inhaler as it is a mist that reaches the lungs better, I have been able to cut right back on using the Nebs as I found that using any of them makes my hands shake terribly and leaves me not in control of my life and although I found another way of dealing with my COPD it has all worked out very well for me.

I hope this helps

Hi,

Yes I have the Aerosure, but I find the Aerobika a lot easier to use and you can get it on prescription from your GP or Respiratory Nurse. Make sure you read everything on the website as it is all worth reading.

Good luck
