Nappy rash

Hi, my little one has never had rashes but ever since his back teeth have started to come in he seems to get a really bad nappy rash. I have been using sudocrem and it does clear it but I’m wondering if there’s anything stronger that I can get to help ease the pain for him?

He also has a bit of nappy rash from this. The GP said to reduce to 1.5 and he didn’t poo then pooed a large amount type 5 and I started him on 2 sachets fir one day then 1.75 for 3 days.

I stumbled across a recommendation for Bepanthen nappy rash cream. 🙄. I’ll try anything once. It works a treat for me and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone. If you read the reviews, it’s healed a multitude of skin problems not related to nappy rash too. Gave me immediate relief.

rash which only started while there, I don't know how long she must have been left like that so I am scared to send her back in them but also use them here but not there scares me of how nervous she might be there

Hi, we are 6 days into disimpaction with my three year old and this afternoon and evening she is looking really sore in the nappy area and telling me it hurts when I put cream on (though seems ok the rest of the time at the moment). I am worried about this making the now-frequent nappy changes a horrible

Because my little boy took so much of my attention last night (I got maybe 2 hours of broken sleep, and he slept with me in the end), I neglected to notice that his twin sister had pooped and therefore she now has nappy rash which has really upset me.

The paediatrician is now asking us to try different doses of Movicol again to see if it helps but it has been 5 months of trying different doses and I'm so stressed out with it as she is no longer toilet trained (and I feel like she never will be) and is constantly sore due to nappy rash from constant

She has a history of getting a sore bottom from poo- she was very prone to nappy rash when she was 18 months- 2 yrs old despite always keeping things clean and dry, so I am convinced this might be the root cause.

We were on lactolouse first which had very little effect before being put on Laxido- although the Laxido was more effective in helping him poo it gives him the most terrible nappy rash- broken, bright red and swollen skin that makes him cry with pain.

He’s also been having really bad nappies which have now caused really bad nappy rash 😢 I’ve been using metanium but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything! Can anyone recommend anything else or should I call the doctors in the morning and get some cream from them!

It has become such an issue that he has really bad 'nappy rash' on his bottom and we can barely leave the house and we don't know when he is going to do it. Does anyone have any experience of this? Thank you

They are all very small soft poops that stays between is bum cheeks. it's not always obvious to know he has done something and because he is very active and at nursery, the friction and poop mixture is causing him to have almost constant nappy rash. His bum is so painful with the sores.

Most of the time she is in pullups during the day and nappies at night but most recently she has regressed and was having wet pullups to the point where she was leaking and she was getting nappy rash.

I gave up and just use Canestan cream, or nappy rash cream, to try and give me a few hours a day without pain and itching. Many thanks for any insights or suggestions anyone might offer!

She has really bad nappy rash which we expected as a result of the amount of drugs pumped into her but she just seems so unhappy! Any ideas or thought ? Will it pass?

In November I had tried potty training but had to stop as he got worse with withholding, while developing the worst nappy rash I could ever imagine. The paediatric gastroenterologist who saw him in February told us not to bother with training until he forgot the trauma.

Do gotta say applying Vaseline beforehand and nappy rash type creams after really lessens it though! Mean still sore after all that but, likely worse without. The Vaseline acts like a barrier and the rash cream kinda cools it off. Handy hint for any going for one soon.
