Did you use Orgovyx with radiation, and did your Medicare Part D or Advantage plan cover it ?
I'm hoping to learn what roadblocks anyone encountered in asking to use Orgovyx instead of Lupron, etc as part of radiation treatment. Resistance from prescribing ROs? Problems with Part D drug coverage ? Advantage plans...Kaiser , etc............that would and wouldn't cover at least some of the

Starting clinical trial of AVR-766
Today I start a clinical trial for ARV-766, an AR degrader. I'm coming in at phase 2, and they are only accepting men who have one of 4 point mutations in the AR - I have two. I've been randomized to 300 mg pill, once a day. The other dose is 100mg. I've failed ADT, chemo. Keytruda & Pluvicto. Hoping

Sporadically fall backwards with no warning

Constantly bleeding / zoladex
I'm coming to to my 3rd shot of zoladex next week but for the last 5 weeks I've had 3 periods and all have been a week long. I had 5 days respite between 2 and my current period. I'm currently on day 7 and is not letting up, so don't know how much longer this 3rd will go on for. They aren't light,

Rising PCA - on ADT Holiday
Diagnosed Stage 4 oligometastatic (low volume) PCA in 2021. Gleason 7, 4+3 . Completed RT and 18 months on ADT (Nubeqa) paused the ADT in September after PSA non detectable and a fresh set of scans showed no āevidence of diseaseā. Continued to do bloodwork quarterly and PSA remained at 0. Until

Reassurance please
Hi, I have a diagnosis of an autoimmune thyroid condition. Went privately as NHS tests all within range on tests. Waiting on further bloods, which has been difficult to get done, so I can have follow up appointment with private GP for thyroid treatment. Appointment in July. In the interim I did see NHS

Urinary urgency after treatment .. occasional
One side effect Iāve noticed is an occasional sudden need to urinate. Like when you were a young kid stuck on a school bus and had to really really go. This doesnāt happen all the time but maybe 20% of the time so several times a day. Iāve had brachytherapy (5 months ago), external radiation (3 months

Does this sound like Hashimoto's please?
Hello, My thyroid has been under suspicion for many years but I cannot seem to get any answers. Postnatally, (four months after giving birth), some fifteen years ago, my TSH was tested and was 12.6. Nothing was done about this. ( I have only just seen this on my NHS app). Fast forward to eight years

Tibolone HRT offered for pain relief of Pudendal Nueralgia alongside 3 injections of Zoladex into the abdominal wall?
Hi everyone, I had a gynecologist offer me Tibolone HRT tablets alongside 3 injections of Zoladex into the abdominal wall 4x weekly. Looking these medications up I've seen a ton of side effects like most meds. The gynaecologist agreed I had normal hormones and no gyno problems or endometriosis but being

Affect of Alendronic acid if needing dental work?
This aspect bothers me as well as the implications of taking Alendronic acid. At age 81 after taking AA for about 18 months, I stopped it after I was prescribed HRT patches for another problem . Whilst HRT protects bones to a certain extent , I believe it doesn't increase bone density as does AA.

PROSTOX Tests
Is Conventionally Fractionated Radiotherapy (CFRT) mentioned on https://mirakind.org/prostox-testing/ the same as Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)? Specifically, does the CFRT test indicate if I am at high or low risk for IMRT? If the result of SBRT test indicates high risk, can I opt for

MRI report shows enhancing bone lesion is noted involving the left sphenoid bone.
Thatās from an MRI taken six weeks after 10 sessions of IMRT were completed for a surgically inoperable metastasis in my skull. Apparently this means the contrast agent shows increased blood flow or activity in the tumor. Does that sound normal to still have increased blood flow or activity six weeks
