Is there any evidence that ADT deteriorates the myelin insulating neuropathways?
I've never seen any such evidence.
This is an article that says androgens protects myelin

I am no scientist, but this sentence from the abstract seemed interesting - not only due to myelin repair but a s synthetic hormone that does NOT stimulate prostate growth:
The potent synthetic testosterone analogue 7α-methyl-19-nortestosterone, which has been developed for long-term male contraception and androgen replacement therapy in hypogonadal males and does not stimulate prostate growth, also efficiently promoted myelin repair.
My Google search turn up this: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...
It's a pretty deep article. It concludes:
"To conclude, androgen deprivation for 6 months led to worse 1-back accuracy but not significant changes in other measures of the N-back or flankers’ task or in quality of life. However, ADT resulted in reduced white matter fractional anisotropy in association with impairment in 2-back and flankers reaction time. These findings support white matter as a critical target for investigation of the influences of ADT on cognition in prostate cancer patients. In particular, it remains to be seen whether or how microstructural white matter changes would continue beyond six months of ADT."
Interesting paper: liebertpub.com/doi/full/10.... - Testosterone and Myelin Regeneration in the Central Nervous System - concludes T has a positive effect on myelin.
