Covid jab, to be or not to be
I really don't know what to think about the covid jab, i have had them all until now, but having contracted covid 4 weeks ago, and ended up feeling terrible, and even now i feel pretty dire, and it certainly heightened my depression, and so i do question if it's really worth bothering. Advice please with cold and PMR
For the first time in nearly a year, I have a cold and where I before just go on with it, I am feeling terrible! My body aches so much from my shoulders to the groin and neck and wondering if is this normal when having an autoimmune disease. Should I increase my prednisone until this passes as not sure

Cribiform Prostate Cancer
I have some findings of cribiform cancer in my cancer biopsy. I will start treatment with ADT this mnonth and SBRT in April, 2024. Cribiform cancer in the literature is associated with significantly worse outcomes. Does anyone have experience with this?

Thank you everybody
Thank you everybody for bearing with me as I poured out my frustrations and anxieties with my current treatment plan over my last several posts, and for all your comments and advice. I called my MO's office this morning and left a voice mail detailing my declining status and the fact that I was done

Breathlessness
Hi I am currently on a cycle which involves two sessions at two weeks apart called TETP. So I am having etoposide and paclitaxel then cisplatin and paclitaxel two weeks later. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced a tight chest and breathlessness when having any of the above. Also I have developed

Radiation Sessions
I am considering proton therapy radiation for my DICS cancer found in the left breast. Six months ago, I had a dissection B - TAVAR for a torn aorta. I am very concerned about the radiation penetrating to heart and lungs. The main concern is if proton therapy radiation is so advanced, why is the standard

A question on breathing, possible long-covid ?
Strange thing, and need your help, just to see if anyone else has the same symptom, so Dec 2021, came down with covid, and then had a upper respiratory infection, which lasted around 4 months. During these months, I had wheezing, and at times very bad, but there was one other symptom, which I need

Does anyone here continue to have blood in their phlegm after recovering from pneumonia?
I finished taking my medication a week ago, and I haven't been getting much phlegm these days. But now I see blood spots in the phlegm, I have an x-ray tomorrow.I am very worried, my mind sometimes drifts to dark thoughts.

anxious about CAD - MRI result
Hi all, Does anyone know if a cardiac MRI would pick up coronary heart disease , or at least see some part of the arteries? I’m awaiting a CT scan with dye to look into CAD, but my consultant thinks it’s unlikely as I’m 32 , I am overweight and an ex-smoker so I do have some risk factors. My cardiac

nervous about covid
this morning I woke up congested and with a lot of post nasal drip, which caused my throat to be slightly sore. I tested last night for covid and was negative. These past few weeks I’ve been fighting a cold/allergies but I feel like yesterday and today have been slightly worse. I’m supposed to go to

Check your Thyroid
For about a year I’ve been struggling. Fatigue getting worse, frozen shoulder, dry mouth and eyes, aching, brain fog, palpitations. It really got worse after last years autumn Covid booster when I thought I was having a heart attack. Heart all checked out fine. So I talked to my consultant at my clinic

Temporary AF during Covid?
Hi. Following an ablation nearly 2 years ago I have been AF free. I have PIP Flecainide and Bisoprolol that I have never needed to take since the ablation. I take Edoxaban daily. I currently have Covid and yesterday had a jumping feeling so checked my Apple Watch and it said AF. I immediately did several

Olaparib hasn’t worked for me . Anyone had this happen and had success with another PARP?
Hi everyone, I’m back of Chemo for 3rd line, this time with Carbo and Caelyx. This is just a year after 1st recurrence, Chemo reduced cancer to nearly NED, 7 months of Olaparib and then CT scan showed new tumour on spleen. CA125 36. Oncologist mentioned later trying another PARP possibly Rucaparib
