I really don't know what to think about the covid jab, i have had them all until now, but having contracted covid 4 weeks ago, and ended up feeling terrible, and even now i feel pretty dire, and it certainly heightened my depression, and so i do question if it's really worth bothering.
Several people i know have never had the covid jab and have sailed through the pandemic unscathed without a trace of a problem, and i am undecided if I will have any more jabs because they obviously don't stop you being laid low with the wretched virus anyway.

I definitely would get the booster every year. Two past colleagues of mine both died of it; one was such a dedicated teacher he probably didn’t want to lose time by going to get it done. I had Covid last January and I was really very poorly with it and if I hadn’t had the jab it could have been so much worse…
I am really on the fence about it. I have gotten the past ones and got pretty sick after the second one but my husband had just gotten over covid (he hadn’t gotten the shots before he got it) so I may have had it just as I got the second shot. But the biggest issue for me is, my niece a three time kidney transplant survivor had all the shots, contracted covid, and died within days from complications of long covid. It destroyed her lungs. She would have had to be in a nursing facility on a respirator, for the rest of her life. She decided she was done and stopped treatment. She was gone within an hour. So really what good does it do? They were supposed to protect high risk people.
