Who has had cataract surgery with a bleb?
So as is the way with this condition, you cruise for a while then your eyes decide they do not wish to play ball! So basically I’ve been noticing a decrease in clarity with my right eye. The Glaucoma clinic doesn’t think I’m an urgent case so I’m waiting till November where I will see a nurse 😒.

Being taking off Pegasys. :( Looking for alternatives
Hi all, I have ET & PV with Jak2. I am 40. I have been on aspirin for over 10 years, but had to start Pegasys 3 months ago. I haven't tolerated it well. Severe shortness of breath etc. My hematologist reduced my dose to 30 per week, but I am suffering with hypertension (150 to 69/96 on average) and

Glaucoma along with advanced AMD (GA stage)
Hi all, I am new to this forum and would like an opinion from the experts here. My father has glaucoma in both eyes and unfortunately, by the time it was diagnosed, his vision in right eyes was 30% remaining only. This was almost 12 yrs back. His left eye was the savior for us so many years till 2018

immune system
Hi Everyone Can anyone tell me what affect Pegasys has on the immune system. A few tears ago I had a positive ANA and Anti-Ro blood test, was seen by a Rheumatologist who said I had Sicca symptoms but not Sjogrens. Another recent blood test has shown the same, positive ANA and Anti Ro. Now I am having

Cloudy Vision after IVOM / Injection
Good day, On Friday, I had my 3rd Vabysmo injection in both my left and right eyes. I'm 28 years old and have been a diabetic for 23 years. My prescription for both eyes is -0.75. During my last appointment four weeks ago, my left eye had 100% vision, while my right eye had 90%. After the procedure

Red Eye Update
Hi,I posted a few days ago about keep having a bloodshot eye. Now on 4th since the beginning of the month!! Or maybe they never actually completely go in the first place, only disappear from the visible part of my eye? I went to the MEC clinic at Specsavers and after various tests and examining my eyes

hi everyone! I am writing because I wanted to see if anybody had similar experiences. I am four months post total thyroidectomy, and in the first month or so I didn’t really feel many or any symptoms. Trust Issues
The older doctor in my GP practice, that I have known for years and trusted, lied to me the other day and I have no faith in him any more. I had an eye infection a few weeks ago, which I put down to hay fever. I was prescribed Chloramphenicol, but the infection took a while to clear as the instructions

Eye pressure tests in between appointments
Hi - I have
monopost
drops
for
eye
pressure (no glaucoma diagnosis ... yet) and would like to be able to check my eye pressures from time to time in between annual hospital appointments. I am considering buying a tonometer, but think I might get a bit obsessive if I do that!

Update on painful buttocks and thighs
My rheumatologist requested a CRP test for me yesterday, and it was below 3, low normal range. As I think back, I may have over done it four days in a row, and this may just be very sore muscles. My mother would have called it being “lame.” I have been taking it very easy the last couple days and

Is it the Medication or am I Losing it?
Do you do daft things? This morning I picked up my toothbrush and instead of putting toothpaste on it picked up a tube of face wash cream and spread that on my toothbrush, as soon as the brush went in my mouth I knew what I'd done. Last week I took a carton of orange juice out of the fridge and poured

There was no difference for me but I continued under the guidance of my rheumatologist and have now come off of it as am trying a different medication

Tirosint
Its been 10.5 months since my thyroidectomy. I was at .69 TSH on levothyroxine 100 mgs a day with mega side effects. Doctors just switched me Tirosint 88 mgs a day. Am I to expect more serious changes, again. I lost my voice, got chubby, lost hair, aged, and more. Its been a life-changing experience
