Abnormal ECG
So the arrhythmia team contacted me yesterday to discuss the result of my ECG done at my local surgery . Apparently although the test showed an an abnormal pattern with wide QRS it was a minimal deviation and not any form of AF . It could be an age related change but my sinus rhythm was normal and the

My Doctor's theory
I have just read the article Research update: Looking for tinnitus biomarkers. Very encouraging and the first evidence that my doctors theory, many years ago, was probably correct. I have had Tinnitus since traumatic surgery aged six. (now 62) Unaware it was abnormal, I was not diagnosed until years

Returning to Golf
Had Trab surgery on 5th June. Having regular checks with my consultant/surgeon. Keen golfer. Just wonder if anyone else has had Trab who was a golfer, and how long they were off the course? Thanks.

”cells” Recent check up post lens replacement
Hi can anyone help me understand what would be meant by “ a few cells” when I had a recent examination. My doctor has said this on a couple of occasions as it’s taken a few months for my sight to clear post lens replacement surgery. I kept meaning to ask but had a list of questions so thought I would

Just Nod If You Can Hear Me
I’m hearing from several doctors and a counselor who swear there are men who have maintained size, resolved incontinence, and restored erectile function (albeit with pills, injections, prosthetics) following nerve sparing radical prostatectomy. When I ask how I can connect with just one of these men

Surgery Cancellations
This feels like a stupid question but I’m going to ask it anyway 😂 My MDT review is now complete, I’ve been added to their urgent surgery wait list but was advised to accept a cancellation given the state I’m in. The consultant said I’d need four weeks recovery, but I’m wary of telling work I’ve said

Update
Well I had my ECG at the surgery today and the report shows a result with a few issues that included abnormal left axis deviation and non specific st abnormality amongst others. Obviously this is all gobbledygook to me but the first time since I was diagnosed with AF that I’ve had an abnormal ECG .
