I’ve been taking Edoxaban for a week and a half now. Felt absolutely fine before I started taking it but a few days in I felt dreadful - pressure in ears, shooting pains in head, fatigue and generally feeling rubbish. Likened it to how I felt after the Covid vaccine, weirdly! I genuinely don’t think it is a bug/flu or anything like that. Makes me feel quite depressed too which I didn’t feel before. Can’t get to speak to a doctor - both at surgery are on holiday! Ridiculous! Might switching to another anti-coag be a good idea when I do get to speak to the doc? Can’t feel like this with work etc. Anyone had similar?

Started Edoxaban 3 months ago. Experienced unusually stiff hip joints in first two weeks but now OK. Maybe wait for a couple of months to see if the body adapts.
Yes, l have experienced awful side effects with the new anticoagulants. I have tried them all with negative results. In the end had to resort to Warfarin. I was ill a long time trying them all and have never felt quite the same since being diagnosed with AF and going on medication.
I just got so sick that l was on the sofa most of the day and couldn’t do a thing. I am very sensitive to drugs and it gets worse as l get older. Try something else as it might be ok for you,
