advice wanted pls!
I’ve suffered with painful periods for years, to the point I’d be on the floor crying in agony etc. I’ve had different medications, contraceptive pills and was finally given depo injections after I turned up to the gp sobbing where I was in so much pain so he referred me to gynae. Long story short I

Elevated Gamma-GT and gallbladder stone
I posted a while back about how my GGT value was increasing over time and with every repeat blood test it was elevated further. All other enzyme values in normal range, I had an ultrasound this week and it showed one gallbladder stone. I have no symptoms of gallbladder issues - no abdominal pain etc

Update re withdrawal of Pred prescription
Further to yesterday’s post, I have just rung the surgery to be advised by the receptionist that a further prescription for 1 mg Pred has been issued today. This will be sent to my pharmacy today and the pharmacy then send me a text when it is ready for uplift, which is their normal practice. I will

Different Brand of Pred
My surgery dispense for me but by mistake they sent my prescription to a local chemist. I see they're a different make to my usual ones. Is it ok to take another brand or should I insist the surgery give me my usual ones?

Update on wide QRS Kardia reading
Well the arrhythmia team finally got back to me yesterday. As far as they can tell from the ECG I sent them they can see a delay in the transmission of electrical signals from the ventricles to the atrium causing my symptoms. It feels like ectopics but the rhythm is normal . They have advised me to get

Should I reduce my desogestrel dose?
Hi everyone I'm new here, sorry if this seems like a bit of an essay - I am after some advice about desogestrel. I have been on desogestrel for almost 10 months now (8 months at double dose). It's not been an easy ride, constant bleeding everyday (very heavy to start with). Finally at 9 months

Why does sitting up have to be such a pain post-op?! Is this normal or should I be concerned?
Hi all! I’ve just passed two weeks post op, heading in to week 3 (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy) and hoping to see if people have experienced the same when it comes to adjusting back to ‘normal’ life. This is my first surgery and I was diagnosed with endo and had four incisions, with a heap of excisions

Advice needed
Hi, my wife has endometriosis and I am wondering just how exactly I can convince a Dr about the level of pain she is in? Her journey started with very heavy and long periods on average between 10-20 days of very heavy bleeding, then she would have 3-5 days without and then again 10-20 days bleeding

Side Effects Pt 2
So visit to the hospital didn’t go as hoped. As I feared, not much understanding of husband’s side effects and my concerns about his pre existing conditions and his low mood due to 10 drops a day. Pressure in eye with failed trab was 30, so acetazolomide prescribed despite our reservations after side

adhesions in mri - please help
hi everyone - I had an mri to assess whether or not to go ahead with a lap. I have recurrent miscarriages and dull aches constantly lower stomach (but not awful) but especially when I’ve been pregnant (before losing). I’m investigating whether my pain is linked to infertility and where the pain is coming

Just been diagnosed, unsure of what to do next?
Hello! So I finally had the results from my MRI and it has confirmed endometriosis was found. It was honestly just utter relief. I nearly burst into tears. I have been going backwards and forwards, having test after test, advocating for myself, being gaslit by different gp's, for years and now
