Had my surgery - query!
Hi all, Finally had my surgery & they found so much more endometriosis than any scan found. It feels very validating. They also confirmed I had adenomyosis, which I knew. However, the surgeon came to speak to me in recovery (I was still very much not with it). So I don't remember much of anything

Adhesions and eating
Hi I had a recent laposcopy to remove a large abcess on my left ovary from a previous episode of PID caused by a bust abcess. When they got in there they found extensive adhesions and inflammation in my fallopian tube and pelvis area along with more adhesions. I am recovering well and feel stringer everyday

Anxiety following acute health issue
I had emergency surgery to clear out a septic joint and ended up hospitalized for weeks. The pain was almost unbearable. Ever since the trauma, I have been bothered by "what if?" anxiety. What if my partner dies? What if I get another painful health issue? That kind of thing. I've used some calming music

AUS revision surgery?
I'm seeking advice on having a second AUS surgery. My background: I had a prostatectomy in 2016 and radiation a year later because the cancerous tumor had penetrated the sack. I have since had undetected PSA but have suffered with severe stress incontinence. I had AUS surgery in 2018 but it failed because

total left hip replacement by Superpath method
Iāve needed left hip replacement since 2019, of course Covid hit and my expected wait time in my home City when I went back to see the osteo consultant last year was another is 4 years on the NHS. So I went on the search to see what else was available as Iām fortunate to be able to go privately for

Update
So, I've had insulin added to my ever growing list of meds. I moved to the ward but have had a set back. Call me Linda and The Giant Breast. My sugar levels went sky high, I'm back on the insulin drip, it's been hourly ops though the night, nil by mouth and the likely hood of more surgery š

Gynecomastia from ADT - how much?
Gynecomastia from ADT - how much? I am considering asking my oncologist for transdermal estrogn (TDE) therapy instead of Orgovyx to combat my prostate cancer. Since gynecomastia and breast pain are pretty much the only bad side effects from TDE and less troubling to me than metabolic disturbance,

Nano Knife Surgery
I recently underwent a brand new surgical procedure called nano knife. Dr. Mayank Patel in Encino California, a da Vinci robotic and TULSA pro expert surgeon recommended this procedure after a panel of doctors examined my MRI and CT scans. The procedure was successful and five months post surgery

Estradiol, QoL and inflammation
Although I have been following the exchanges of this group for several months, this my first posting. I have (at 79) learned a lot from the pooled knowledge and experience of the group members. My inquiry ties in with posts regarding estradiol and the PATCH trial that have appeared the last couple
