Hiya

I'm just wondering has anyone fell pregnant with endo or after the laprscopy surgery. I have fallen pregnant 8 months after surgery they state I'm high risk due to scar tissue etc as I was at stage 3. And I have a lot of pain around the scar area and pelvic area.

Has anyone else had this??

Ah that's lovely, congratulations. I was in the early pregnancy unit after I found out due to having pains, they said that I will have more pains due to scar tissue. My consultant said I'm high risk due to the endo, scar tissue.

Congratulations too. Oh I see. I guess I would probably high risk too then? Luckily I haven't really had any pain yet. Has your pains been constant during your pregnancy?

Hi. Yes I got pregnant 2 months after surgery with my first baby. They didn’t treat my pregnancy any different despite the Endo or surgery. I told the midwives but they didn’t seem concerned and that was really the last time anyone mentioned it.

Ah ok that's good to know, the consultant jumped straight on it as soon as I said I had endo and he saw ym history. Due to the scar tissue etc. I'm in immy 3rd trimester and I've been having a lot of pain, what was your pregnancy like?

yes I also had lots of pains which I believed was from the Endo. My pregnancy was straight forward though from a medical point of view. My labour was too. Managed to delivery naturally and didn’t feel my Endo affected that. Good luck, I wish you the best.

I found that my other pregnancies weren’t as painful, maybe because the scar tissue had already stretched it? Or maybe because the Endo had been more dormant from previous pregnancy and breast feeding possibly…
