Ryeqo

Hi everyone! I have just had an appointment with the consultant which completed my excision surgery July last year, due to having on going pain in one area plus trying different pills to try help symptoms which have all made some symptoms worse, plus forever bleeding! He has given me a prescription for Ryeqo, which to my understanding puts you into chemical menopause. I am only 28 with no children yet so this sounds quite scary to me! Just wanted to hear people’s experiences with Ryeqo, as my consultant feels it is too early for another surgery and just wants to see if this manages symptoms. Thanks x

I've endometriosis with no experience with ryeqo, but my 19 year old daughter had a laporoscopy in Feb and a confirmed diagnosis of endometriosis, she has just been prescribed ryeqo, we are two weeks in, no bleeding at all since she started, I appreciate it is very early days but she has been bleeding constantly for more than a year! Also reluctant she felt she wanted to try ryeqo as opposed to zoledex (also puts your body into menopause) which they keep pushing. I had zoledex when I was 19, (I'm now 46) with no HRT, I think medication has come along way now and we are hoping ryeqo will be better. Ryeqo seems like a good balance of ingredients. But time will tell. My daughter is desperate, she is losing her quality of life to endometriosis, de ja vous sadly for me and her....I wish you well with whatever you decide.

hello honey how are you? I tried ryequo but it didn’t work for me but it was my case it doesn’t mean that it happens everybody, my advice to you is you should try and see how it goes but avoid surgery because you too young and you have no children.

Hey, I’ve been on it for a month and a half and it’s been a mixed bag so far, plan to give it a go for 3 months and then decide whether to keep taking it. I think all you can do is try, the chemical menopause thing isn’t as deep as it sounds because once you stop taking the medication it’s literally completely out of your system a day later I was told. Best of luck!
