Is this decision right for me
I had a PSMA pet scan on 7/16/2024. The result shows a single tumor in my left lung measuring 8mm. My MO wants me to have the tumor radiated and monitor the PSA and its doubling time. A little background, I'm just short of 83 years old. I had prostatectomy in 2009, PSA undetectable until 2017. I had

Prostate Cancer PSA is detectible again
I am a 57-year-old male. My prostate cancer was diagnosed in 2019, and I had a radical prostatectomy at Vanderbilt. In early 2023, my PSA went up to 0.12. I underwent a PET scan, which returned negative. However, an MRI revealed a small area at the prostatectomy suture site. On October 27, 2023, I completed

Kisqali added to Letrazole
So I was diagnosed with stage 2b lobular BC on 3/2023. Had a double mastectomy on 5/2023 and radiation. Onco and mammaprint said “no chemo benefit”. 26 lymph nodes taken out and 2 positive. Now oncologist wants to add Kisqali to my treatment regimen even though I am “cancer free”. I am sure it is due

Just Nod If You Can Hear Me
I’m hearing from several doctors and a counselor who swear there are men who have maintained size, resolved incontinence, and restored erectile function (albeit with pills, injections, prosthetics) following nerve sparing radical prostatectomy. When I ask how I can connect with just one of these men

surgery via private healthcare
So I have been advised to have two separate surgeries before continuing with IVF, one to remove a borderline tumour via laparoscopic cystectomy (purely for health reasons as the tumour has the potential to become cancerous), and a hysteroscopy to treat a defective c section scar which may potentially

Hi, does anyone have anything on HRT post ovarian cancer and radical hysterectomy? I’m 14 years post diagnosis and struggling with brain fog and fatigue. Is HRT an option?

Reconstruction after Mastectomy
Happy Holidays!!! I was wondering if there's anyone who's had a mastectomy with reconstruction and regretted it. I'm 43 MBC and there's a mass in tge same breast they've been watching but I think it's time to have the mastectomy as a preventative measure. Anyone willing to share their experiences?

The role of PSMA PET/CT in predicting downgrading in patients with Gleason score 4+4 prostate cancer in prostate biopsy - W Jour Uro 5/21/24
[i]An interesting investigation aimed at validating the use of PSMA PET/CT in patients to adjust the Gleason score (downward) of their cancer based on conventional pre-surgery biopsy, scans (ultrasound & MRI). In this instance the focus was on downgrading from a high-risk of 8 to an intermediate-risk

Blood in urine
Hi all. This is my first post here. I had a robotic radical prostatectomy three months ago. In the first few weeks after surgery, my urine was clear, but then I started showing blood on my pads during walks. This has continued ever since and I'm now at 12 weeks after surgery. These are pink spots, not

Endometrioma and IVF
Just wondering anyone that has had endometriomas and IVF how big they were to continue with IVF? I have had 2 opinions from two hospitals so feel confused what to do! 1 has advised to have the cysts removed and then go straight into IVF whilst the other is reluctant to do surgery due to my AMH but

No period after endo excision
Hi, I had a cystectomy in 2018 to remove a large cyst from right ovary. Surgeon advised no endometriosis as this was a concern due to family history. Fast forward to 2023, severe pain again. Send for scans, further large cysts were found again in my right ovary. When I had catch up with GP she advised
