Control endometriosis with diet?
And during this break I had a lot of bloating and pain. 6 months on since I have been taking the pills I have now agreed to surgery and I am considering the
Mirena
coil. I was wondering if I could possibly control my pains via lifestyle and diet?

Bowel Problems...
I had two kids since and have a
mirena
coil so have had long stretches without periods. I've been constipated for the last year at least. I don't get any urge to go and it can be a week or more between movements. Stool softeners don't work and I need to take dulcolax to get things working.

Booked for diagnostic laparoscopy next week and super anxious.
I have had the
Mirena
coil for over a year which has really eased my nausea and made my periods lighter but the pain is still constant. I just wasn’t willing to accept that this was as good as it gets. However, the closer I get to my lap the more anxious I feel.

should I seek a third opinion about endo/adeno diagnosis?
It took until I was 23 for a Dr to suggest it might be endometriosis and I had a
mirena
coil fitted which did significantly improve my bleeding and pain, but my periods seem to be becoming more regular and ‘usual’ now.

Endometrioma but without having endometriosis??
Saw the consultant who is removing the cyst and fitting the
mirena
on 21st Feb. He is also doing a biopsy and did CA125. He seems nice but quite quiet really and didn't really get a lost on information out of him 🙈.

Brown discharge after lap/excision and Mirena coil
I also had the
mirena
coil fitted. I was just looking for some advice/reassurance. I had some spotting after the surgery for a few days and then had what I assume was a period about a week later. However, two weeks on I now seem to be having a lot of very brown discharge.

Hormonal bomb
I'm taking 10 mg Carbimazole, Evorel 75 mg and have
Mirena
coil since 2013. I 'm worry that I am using a "hormonal bomb" as I'm using different hormones to deal with problems as menopause and hyperthyroidism. My thyroid is getting under control ( still showing high Thyroid Ab, though).

Should I be worried about this pain after laparoscopy?
hi all, I had a laparoscopy in the middle of January with an endo and adenomyosis diagnosis and excision as well as insertion of the
mirena
coil. For the past two weeks or so I’ve been getting really intense pelvic pains.

Progesterone Only Pill
Since my diagnosis I cannot get settled and I have tried the
Mirena
Coil, Depo, and then got thrown on Levest/Millinette by my GP. I am not having a great time on the combined pill, hence the debate of gong back on Progesterone Only.

Doctor said there are no more options to help me
The
mirena
coil has helped, but I regularly have pain that causes vomiting and dizziness, inability to walk or even talk. I know most of you can completely relate. I’m just so tired.

non hormonal suggestions
Suggestion was a
mirena
coil to stop periods. I went for it and hoped for the best, but I hated it. 11 months of hating how I looked, putting weight on, feeling incredibly low in my moods, libido was completely nonexistent and fatigue that was hard to deal with.

mirena coil advice
hey ladies, just wanted to know what your experience has been like with the
mirena
coil. My gyny wants to fit one when I have my surgery and I’m not sure I want it.

Told by gynae MRI could not be done to check for endo/adeno, confused!
I asked if I could have a laparoscopy to check for both conditions whilst I was having the hysteroscopy &
mirena
under G.A. and he agreed.

IUD mirena coil fitted extreme pain
Hi so I'm hoping someone can reassure me this is normal and will ease in time. I just had an IUD fitted this morning I had no idea what to expect I figured it was like having a smear test, uncomfortable but not painful. This was not the case for me I found it extremely painful I had to use gas and air

Could pain under my ribs be endometriosis?
This all seems to be since I had the
mirena
coil fitted which could be a coincidence but I had it removed yesterday to rule it out. I also had two children recently although did not have any of these symptoms whilst pregnant. Any advice would be very much appreciated!

still unsure about hysterectomy, been waiting over 1 year for op date, and taken a year to see consultant for a discussion
Having a
mirena
coil was a positive thing for me, as stopped alot of the pain and heaviness of bleeding, though it is due to be replaced (every 5 years). I am willing to take a hysterectomy if they decide that is required (after laporoscopy).
