Adenomyosis and endometriosis and the mirena
I have officially given up trying for a baby now and have decided to have the
mirena
coil fitted again. My question is, has anyone had it fitted with adenomyosis and was harder to fit because of it?

Try Mirena again or hysterectomy
hello! My life has been upside down for nearly a year now since having debilitating pain from endometriosis and suspected Adenimyosis (although they haven’t been able to see either in an ultrasound). I’ve been on Synarel Gndr medication since March, which has significantly improved my symptoms (although

Heavy bleeding Mirena
My chronic pelvic pain has definitely gotten so much better since starting the
mirena
where I have such a better overall quality of life and can pace myself opposed to being stuck in bed all day when a period or ovulation.

hi all, I’ve been trying to read up on articles what was found to help me understand my pain etc, due to it progressing again after having the
mirena
inserted 3 years ago. When I spoke with the gp last week I got to see the images of the lesions found.

Hysteroscopy For Fitting Mierena
Just wondering if any of you have had
Mirena
fitted successfully this way? How painful/uncomfortable is the procedure? Also if there's any advice/anything that might be beneficial for me to know when it comes to having this done? Many thanks, Fay 😊 x

Weight Gain, Lap nerves & hormone medication after pill/coil?
GP the recommended
mirena
but it wasn't inserted properly so it was so painful so my body rejected it. I think my body had a lot of trauma from the copper coil. Consultant wanted to fit the
mirena
after the lap but I can't put my body through that again. Any advice would be much appreciated xx

Mirena trial or straight to laparoscopy?
I was a bit hesitant about having a surgery, so she’s said I should trial the mini pill /
Mirena
coil and then she’ll scan me again in a year to see if the blood is still there. If so she’s said I should reconsider a laparoscopy.

Mirena and Exercise
I don’t want to give up my horse riding as it’s really the only thing that motivates me to get out the house at the moment 😔 I also don’t know whether to call it quits on the
Mirena
and have it removed…

I got diagnosed with acute stage 5 endometriosis in January, and the gynocologist fitted me with the

Hysterectomy & Hormones
I'm reluctant to have progesterone HRT as I had a bad reaction to
Mirena
coil in the past. I know weight gain should be the least of my worries but I'm getting to a very uncomfortable size now. Just wondered what my options were and if anyone had any advice? Thanks x

Anyone had the same?
I refuse to take hormonal contraceptives as they mess with my mood and I had suicidal thoughts when I had the
Mirena
coil years ago. Any ideas what treatment options they might offer me??

help with the results (Graves)
He gave me an option of
Mirena
coil or a uterine ablation. I’m not keen on any of these. Any insights would be much appreciated.

Mirena and spotting
I had a
Mirena
fitted 5 weeks ago to help with endometriosis. I've had light bleeding/spotting ever since which shows no sign of stopping. I'm not sure I would have gone for the
Mirena
if I'd known as I don't need it for contraception. Anyone able to advise on how long this is likely to last?

Abdominal pain 4 weeks post laproscopy
I also had the
mirena
coil fitted. Recovery has been pretty onerous, gas pains took a week to subside, wounds took 3 weeks before they finally started to heal up, and I'm still not able to walk more than about 10 minutes without pain. The latest thing is abdominal pain when I do anything.

Prostap Flare - how long?
I’ve got low add back estrogen patches and a
mirena
coil, whilst waiting for colorectal joint excision surgery. MRI is suggestive it’s through my bowel and rectum. I had a lap in June where they didn’t take any out due to bowel involvement. I feel like I’m loosing my mind.

Removing Mirena coil to try to get pregnant
After changing a couple of times contraceptives, in 2021 I got the
Mirena
coil, and it hasn't been that bad, it has stopped my excessive bleeding and helped me to control the pain. Now, I would like to remove the
Mirena
to start trying to get pregnant and I would like to ask for your advise...
