Breathlessness / Endo or hormones?

Hi all , it’s been 3 months now since having the mirena coil taken out

I’m really struggling with breathlessness ( along side feeling extremely weak and zero energy )

Does anyone else struggle with breathlessness ?

Is it a symptom of endometriosis or could it be caused by low hormone levels ?

I had an ecg a few months back and was fine so it’s not heart related

Trying to get an appointment with my gp to discuss this

Thanks in advance

Tina

Have you had iron levels checked recently? I have issue with repeating low iron which causes breathlessness. Not really sure how or why, but it’s usually how I know it’s dropped too low again. Could be worth having this checked if not x

Hi Smiley2022.

Exactly the same! Minus having the coil.

I am breathless all the time, I do have endo on my diaphragm which could be why. Some people have said I should get tested for asthma but to me it feels like an endo related flare up. Let me know if you find any answer, currently laying in hospital recovery from 2nd laparoscopy yesterday.... Waiting to hear from the doc about the diaphragm etc, I'll keep you updated if he says anything about the breathlessness.

Hi thanks for your reply

Got an appointment this morning at my gp surgery ( if anything to rule out anaemia )

Endo on diaghragm did come up on list of possibilities when I googled endo / breathlessness , so could be that !!

Mine doesn’t seem like asthma either , as no wheezing or tight chest

Hope your feeling okay after your lap and get some answers shortly 🤗🤗

Keep me updated 👍👍

Good job you have an appointment, let me know if they have any idea. Thankyou, pretty rough right now. But to be expected. I'll keep you updated on breathlessness.

Hope you have a good day.

Hi hope your feeling a bit better 🤞🤞

Got a blood form from doctors to check if I’m anaemic and she’s also requested an ecg ( just incase it’s heart related ) which I’m sure it isn’t !!!

She also said she will send me for a chest X-ray if bloods come back okay

How did u find out you have Endo on diagram ? Was it from an X-ray or from previous laproscopy ?
