perimenopause bleeding?

so im nearly the big 5 0… had my mirena changed 2 years ago, and have been spotting the last couple of months and now awful period pain with it… I’ve also lost 2.5st since October… so am I over thinking, or perimenopausal or menopausal or shall I just book the doctors hoping I get a gynae dr

You’re at the ‘age’ when generally most women are experiencing perimenopause ..changes in periods and spotting can be expected..but excessive weight loss and pain shouldn’t be ignored. For peace of mind speak to your GP.
