mirena mood swings?

Hi lovely ladies. Just looking for some advice please. I'm 42 and had my third mirena inserted via hysteroscopy in September. The first 10 years (2 mirenas) were great for me. After 2 laparoscopies they finally helped my endo - no periods, minimal pain. This time round I'm so confused. Periods have pretty much stopped, light spotting randomly and a few days of bleeding. Cramps have been ok and off - have been mostly under control with iburofen. But definitely more discomfort/pain than before. The main problem is my mood. I'm not myself. I'm feeling so on edge, a gruff short fused, snappy, emotional most of the time. Is this normal. Will it pass? Is it the mirena or my age? I begged for them to try again after a few failed mirena attempts and now I'm worried it's making me crazy.
