Anyone else get this with their Mirena Coil?
Sorry I have posted before, but this issue is really bugging me. I can honestly feel my mirena coil in me, especially when I am lying down. Also, it scratches like crazy! Does anyone else get this? Told my surgeon, nurse and GP, none of them know what it could be.

Frustration Getting Diagnosed
Hi I am 26 years old and have a 5 year old son. I have always suffered very painful periods since the age of 11 when they started. In may 2015 I was referred to gyne who said I didnt have enough symptoms of Endo and they inserted the mirena coil to help with the pain. I had no problems with it in

Hello all! So I'm 26 and for the last 4 years been suffering with all the symptoms to endometriosis. I have been on the floor crying my eyes out in pain and I don't do crying! Sex is a massive no go for me. Periods were unimaginably painful, going to the toilet is a nightmare sometimes, I'm constantly

Newbie wanting advice
Hi I'm new to this, I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis in December I've had a laparoscopy to remove some of the tissue, a cyst and drain my Fallopian tubes. After experiencing a lot of agonising pain with the endo especially during menstral cycle to the point I can't stand as my legs feel numb

Mirena coil 4 and a half months in. Hair loss, greasy skin, spots, emotional..
Really not sure if the benefit (less painful periods) is worth the side effects. Every time I brush my hair, I just think 'right, that's it. I can't take it any more!' And I didn't have hair loss beforehand. My periods were extremely painful, but only for 2 days - and strong painkillers helped if I caught

Mirena
I had the mirena fitted in march 2015 and it's my second one, but since last Tuesday and I have been bleeding and it's still hasn't stopped. It's doing my head in as I haven't experienced this before with the 1st one I had.

Depression? Any Advice?
Past few years I have been struggling with my mental state. Was diagnosed at 17, had 2 surgeries and my last surgery was about a month ago which was fairly intense. Over the past couple of years I have had horrible mood swings. Ive been on the pill but all of the ones I tried (about 10 - 15 of them)

Newbie, first time posting... Questions after 1st Laparoscopy
Hi everyone, So glad I have found this site. I had a laparoscopy done in March to remove Endo and had the Marina Coil fitted after a long battle with GP's and Gynaecologists telling me there was nothing wrong and maybe it was in my head. It was quite bad and they removed about 80% of it. They could

Endo confirmed after laparoscopy yesterday
I had a lap (excision) yesterday morning and from my muddled memory (anesthetic) endo was found ovaries, uterus, bowel and pouch of douglas (may be other areas but I need to confirm that again with my gyane). I was allowed home late last night, feeling ok just a little sore on the right side and have

Delay I biopsy results
I had post menapause bleeding for a few days in March. I had blood tests which showed I wasn't fully through the menapause and a scan which showed no abnormalities. Under GA I had the mirena coil removed as It was out of date and a biopsy done. The consultant after said all looked normal and I would

I'm very much stuck. I don't know what to do.
I'm 24, I'm 8 months into waiting for a diagnostic laparoscopy. I had the mirena coil fitted a month and a half ago, I've never done well with contraceptive methods but I figured anything to mean I can stop taking so many painkillers or at least stop with the codeine and tramadol. Although the pain is

Unsure what to do
Hi there, Im hoping I can get some advice and opinions from people who have been through the same thing as I am right now. I had laparoscopic surgery in 2015 and was diagnosed with Endometriosis, and also had a mirena inserted. I went to my gynaecologist on Friday as my pain has been quite bad lately

Periods getting heavy again with mirena coil?
Hi, I am new here! I have been using the mirena for 5 months now to treat my Endometriosis, which i had removed with laparoscopy in January. At first my periods were light with the mirena pink in colour, still very painful, but light bleeding. However this month it has been quite heavy with clots,
