Anyone else get this with their Mirena Coil?

Sorry I have posted before, but this issue is really bugging me.

I can honestly feel my mirena coil in me, especially when I am lying down. Also, it scratches like crazy! Does anyone else get this?

Told my surgeon, nurse and GP, none of them know what it could be.

Yes. Not everyone gets on with the coil. It worked hormonally but at the same time as I put it in I started to get daily pelvic pain. They do need 2 or 3 months to settle but after5 months I decided persistent daily pain was worse than severe menstrual pain once a month and took it out. My pelvic pain vanished within a week.

Yes, I had the most awful time with mine. From the first week the back pain and cramping and being able to feel it scratching and sticking in was terrible. I called the GP and kept being told to let it settle in. On some occasions, the pain was so intense I couldn't sit at all. I eventually went to have it removed after 9 months and it had migrated all the way to the opening of my cervix. Keep an eye on what you are feeling and go with your feelings - you know your body better than anyone,

I know I keep being told to let it settle, but this is SO annoying. And yes! Sitting down I feel like its worse. Just frustrating as this was my last port of call, medication wise before I go on injections (which I really am scared to do). Thank you for responding. Hope you are well :)

Yesss!!!! I did I bloody hated it. It was soo uncomfortable! In the end I got it removed.

Every time I have tried the mirena I end up being stabbed by it well that's what it feels like had to have the last one removed and the pains disappeared straight away
