Still get monthly pains even though I take the pill continuously for 3 months before having a break. Dose anyone els have this problem?
I'm currently on the
microgynon
30 pill which I take continuously for 3 months to help regulate my periods and to prevent having to go through period pains every month.

IVF here I come - Finally
I finally got the green light yesterday to start the
microgynon
pill after some delays due to fluid on the uterus. I almost missed another cycle but managed to speed up my hysteroscopy appointment by choosing the quickest available consultant.

I'm really worried, I have been on the
microgynon
pill for a while now probably about 5 years possibly longer it's been so long. But basically it gives me very bad mood swings, depression but also anger problems. I also always feel like foggy/in a daze.

Got married recently, been on the
microgynon
pill for a while now, starting to get bad side effects - depression (foggy like feeling) exhausted all the time even if I've had a lot of sleep or not a lot of sleep.

Unable to control pain
Agreed to try the pill (
microgynon
) but has had no effect. The last laparoacopy was 2016 when they had to remove fluid after a ruptured cyst. But no mention of how advanced my endo is. Can I request a lap to find out how advanced my endo is and could I also request a full hysterectomy?

First post , any similar experiences?
Last June I got to a point where I realised i couldn’t cope with it any longer so I went to my gp, I explained what had gone on, my family history with Endo etc and she decided to change my pill as I had been on

Microgynon pill not helping?
I have been taking the
Microgynon
pill for two months now (just starting my third cycle on it) to try and reduce symptoms of *potential* endo.. i.e. right-hand side pelvic pain all throughout the month.. but nothing has changed except slightly lighter periods..

Pill changed to Rigevidon?
I have been on the pill (
Microgynon
30) for nearly 3 years and today I went for a pill review, and they have changed my pill to Rigevidon I have had no problems being on my previous pill so I don't understand why it's been changed.

Microgynon Pill
Hi I’ve been on the pill for almost 5 years, I’ve recently started feeling cramp in my lower leg that hasn’t really gone away for a few weeks. I’ve not had any issues before this. My Nan suffers from VTE and my mum suffers from hypertension. When I was younger I had migraines but haven’t for years now

Help!...Best way to keep it at bay!?
My first gyno advised me to continue my pill (
microgynon
) with only 3 breaks a year rather than 1 a month....I now have a new gyno who has advised I should take it continuous without a break to stop the endo from being able to get any worse.

Could I be pregnant?
The doctor gave me a prescription for some
microgynon
over the phone but that was only last week so wouldn’t have prevented me getting pregnant if it did stop working.

One step closer to finding out if I have Endometriosis or fibroids or if it’s just been IBS all along
I started taking
Microgynon
in 2009, at the age of 20 and this made my periods lighter and erased my pains completely. Then about a year later, I went through a really tragic experience, which my body reacted to by giving me months of diarrhoea.

Marena coil - any good?
Finally had my post op review and my consultant suggested I switch from
microgynon
to the marena coil. Any one recommend this? I understand it’s a bit invasive so want to be sure about it first.

Microgynon 30 contraceptive
I was prescribed this pill and took it on the 5th day of my period. I have been taking it each day at the same time since, but had sex on the 5th day (yesterday) of taking the pill. I have took it again today, but I’m unsure if I was therefore protected or not as some websites say if you begin the pill

The Pill- Microgynon 30
Just started
Microgynon
30 last night. I now have the chills, a slight headache and some chest discomfort, but that may be related to my Gastric issues. Just woke from a nightmare also. Is this normal, I'm so cold, my body feels normal temp to the touch but I'm just chilled. Maybe unrelated, idk.

Contraception? Endometriosis and hypermobility
I've also been on Cerezette and
Microgynon
before.
Microgynon
worked for a little while but it's hard to compare as I wasn't as acutely aware of my hypermobility symptoms as I now am, as I had spent a long time thinking my pain and flexibility was just normal.
