I'm really worried, I have been on the microgynon pill for a while now probably about 5 years possibly longer it's been so long. But basically it gives me very bad mood swings, depression but also anger problems. I also always feel like foggy/in a daze. Often find myself sleeping throughout the day, on the trains, I just feel exhausted all the time even though I've had at least 10 hours. Its affecting the way I function and puts pressure on my marriage. Also been having pain in my diaphragm find it hard to breath.

Are you sure its your pill Amber ? Have you spoken to your GP ? Had your thyroid , blood count etc checked ? It wouldn't explain pain in the diapraghm

I don't think the pill is causing pain in the diaphragm I think I have UTI. The pill is causing the exhaustion I'm feeling

your diaphragm is high up - under your ribcage. That's too high for a UTI ( pelvis , above your pubic bone )

Theres a simple way to know if its your pill. Stop using it, condoms for a month, and if you feel 100% better then its your pill, if you don't its not.

Well that's a discussion you need to have with him. Or switch to a non hormonal method like the IUD, or the IUS if menstrual problems
