Tired of the pain,
I am almost 60 I have SCT and have bone on bone pain in my joints. I have had anemia since I was a kid and short of breath, swelling in my hands and legs, but since I am white I just get labeled as CHF, anemia, asthma . I want help and answers not more Motrin to kill my liver. I work in the medical field

Tandarts who needs advice
I have CMT 1(a). Was diagnosed in 1991, had two new knees , toes straightened etc . I would like to know if someone has leg and ankle braces and if so does it work. I don’t want anymore operations ie ankles to keep me on my feet and postpone a wheelchair. I’m 69 in June. Hate taking Lyrica for the peripheral

Tired/sleepy all the time. Is it in my head?
Hey ladies, I am so sleepy all the time even though I'm not in pain and i get plenty of sleep. Is it in my head or does everyone else feel like this? I haven't changed anything lifestyle wise and normally i find it difficult to get to sleep but lately i have been falling asleep so quickly, but I'm not

Oh you RLS. How you cuddle up next to me Yet dance and dart away as I try to subdue you. How you blush, and seem grateful as I speak respectfully of you. Softly chortle as I adjust the covers exactly as YOU tell me. You wag your finger and tell me it’s in my head, as you become irritated , blaming me

Anyone use Evra Patch back to back? Bleeding atm while on it
Hi so I'm using the Evra Patch back to back and taking a break every 3 months. I've had the patch on every week for the last 5 weeks. I was changing it on Saturday so I took it off in the shower. I forgot to put a new one on for a few hours maybe 3 or 4 hours max. I started bleeding brown blood Wed night

FURIOUS IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!
I am still waiting to see a Neurologist, a Dermatologist for a Skin Biopsy, Pain Clinic and Human Genetics, I know these will take time as waiting lists are long where I live. However, I found out in June this year that my Hospital Records have been destroyed because I had not been admitted to or attended

Endo Fighting Diet - non medical
Hi guys, I have been diagnosed with endometriosis 2 years ago and i had a laparoscopy about a year ago. Symptoms improved after lap but eventually came back after about 6 months. Since then i was put on different pills which had adverse effects so my gynocologist put me on the evra patch so it bypasses

Nicotine anyone still using it for PD?
Reading the current link "nicotine-reduces-levodopa-induced-dyskinesias-in-lesioned-monkeys' Made me think does anybody still use nicotine patches, gum or vaping to try and slow progression of their PD. I tried patches when first diagnosed but quit after 3 months when a leaky patch nearly finished me

UPDATE - MY REPLY TO MEMAMBE
Hi, I am waiting on referral and tests (I am 66 years old). I am just like you I am sore to touch all over. I have had many falls due to foot drop and if I do fall it is excrutiating if anyone tries to help me up, I have to crawl to a bit of furniture to get up. I also have Raynauds & Sjogrens Sydromes

Estradot, HRT, Cysts
So after 3 weeks of agonising pain, an Urgent Care Visit, 111 calls and finally an appointment with my consultant on Tuesday it turns out I have a cyst on my right ovary that's potentially leaking. Most likely due to the Mirena coil, but have been prescribed Estradot patches which is essentially HRT

Hello, my 9 year old son was diagnosed with lyme and co infections . He has been on antibiotics and all his major symptoms went away except for headache . He’s had a constant headache for 2 months now . Severity goes up and down but it’s always there. Motrin /Tylenol don’t help ! Head hurts only in front

Socks for AFOs (available in the UK please)?
I have been wearing AFOs for a number of years now but still haven't solved the problem of what socks to wear. So far I have been wearing cheap short manmade fibre "diabetic socks" which leave most of the skin of my lower legs in contact with the plastic, and thick, cotton, "long diabetic socks" (about

Mom of 6 after VM
I had viral meningitis 8 months ago. The doctors said I’d feel better after a few weeks. They were wrong! I was diagnosed with VM and was in the hospital for a week. During my spinal tap the doctor puntured the wrong location which caused spinal fluid leaking and created another type of excruciating

Fellow suffers. Here is my history. Everything that has happened with treatment.
Dear my fellow suffering, I thought it be best to write a little narrative of how and when my symptoms first began. For years I suffered from yeast infections. In the year 2000-2001 I fell from a very high surface onto my coccyx bone, that same week I also got a very bad urinary track infection

I think I am losing it...
I think I’m losing my mind...there is so much fuzziness in my head right now. I’m having really bad anxiety right now. I went to the doctor with my friend yesterday (like her anxiety medicine doctor) and I had gone to her once before she moved locations. But I saw one of her colleagues in her doctors
