Tired of the pain,

WhitesisterwithSCT profile image

I am almost 60 I have SCT and have bone on bone pain in my joints. I have had anemia since I was a kid and short of breath, swelling in my hands and legs, but since I am white I just get labeled as CHF, anemia, asthma . I want help and answers not more Motrin to kill my liver. I work in the medical field and don’t know where to turn.

There are some whites that have sc and sometimes the trait does cause pain, a blood test should confirm no matter what color you are. Folic acid and B12 helps. Also I used a prolotherapy for cartilage loss in my knees, worked wonderfully. Hope you much blessings.. to feel better.
