Weight gain with Femara/Letrozole
Has anyone else experienced weight gain as a side effect of using Femara/Letrozole for fertility treatment? I'm on my 6th cycle of Femara and have gained weight, mainly in the mid section, and am struggling to put on clothes that fit before. I am a fitness instructor and haven't changed my eating or

Tumour marker
I have been in Ibrance, Letrozole and six monthly Denusomab shots for 3 years and 9 months with NEADs from the first Pet scan. C15.3 and CEA have fluctuated within the normal range since. PET scan in Sep 23 also showed NEADs. Recent bloods in Thursday showed c15.3 rise to above the normal range

First line of treatment
Well, I finally got to see my oncologist at Fred Hutchinson cancer center today. And finally a treatment plan! This all took time because I moved from South Carolina to Seattle for cancer treatment and to be with my kids. My oncologist was grateful I had done all the tests and biopsies prior to my appointment

Anyone taking Anticoagulants for AF, together with Alendronic Acid for Osteoporosis?
I've got AF and taking Edoxaban. I'm also taking Atorvastatin, Ramipril, Bisoprolol and Levothyroxine.I've just been told that I have Osteoporosis, which is a side effect of taking Letrozole for 5 years for breast cancer. Alendronic Acid can help osteoporosis, together with taking calcium and vitamin

ibrance/letrozole - when did tumor shrink?
For those of you taking ibrance and letrozole, when did you notice a reduction in your breast lump? When you first started on the meds, how long did it take before you noticed things were changing and tumor started shrinking?

Australia?
Hi everyone, I have answered some posts but not written my own. I have just got my Australian Resident Visa extended for another year. Can anyone in Australia fill me in on what I can expect from Medicare? or if I need to go Private? I am so far on Ibrance and Letrozole, with 3-monthly scans. Are

Dienogest and letrozole
Hi all, Could I get some advise please. I have been suffering from endometriosis. I had a recent MRI and ultrasound done few weeks back and they found deep infiltrating endometriosis in some areas, around perineum to be exact and a very tiny cyst on my left ovary. I had a 2nd laparoscopy a year ago and

Hello. Low grade Serous
Hi everyone. I was diagnosed with low grade serous ovarian cancer in Sept 22, I’ve had 2 massive ops and chemo and now take Letrozole. My recent scans have been clear, which is the best news. I haven’t really reached out to many support groups but feel I need to as I feel pretty isolated with my experience

Possible Progression
Good morning my beautiful thrivers! For the last 2 years I have been bone only Mets with reoccurring masses in my right breast chest wall. I had a CT scan yesterday which shows a new liver lesion measuring 2.6 cm. Everything else is stable. Including tumor markers and bloodwork. I have been on Ibrance

Letrozole not working?
Hi all, hope everyone is doing OK during this horrendous journey. wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and can ease my mind.... I was on clomid last time I posted here and mentioned that my lining was too thin so they switched me to letrozole. Gone for my scan today and it looks like

Good news
I said recently in my post that I'm pleased not to dwell on the numbers and keep everything in perspective. But I still appreciate good news when it comes. This week I had a call from oncologist largely because she's liaising with my dentist about dental work. Basically she was telling me it was worth

Should I be concerned?
Hi all - I have been on Letrozole and palbo for just over three years and remain NEAD (for now). No noticeable side effects until I was diagnosed recently with osteoporosis. My neutrophils have always been OK but last month they were below one. My onc allowed me to continue with the meds but this month
