letrozole & false positive pregnancy tests
Evening all, hoping for some advice please!. I have pcos and have had one cycle of letrozole so far to help. By day 18, my scan looked as though I had responded well and I had 2 follicles measuring at 19 so I had high hopes for this month. Unfortunately though I started having cramps about a week

I can’t sleep.
This is my third time around! I had my first mastectomy27years ago when I was 40 and then 12 years ago a second one. They took out a tumor in July and found I have mets in my pelvis. I was started on Ibrance with Letrozole then went off because of Covid. I also have developed a DVT in my legs and pulmonary

Chem pregnancy or left over trigger shot?
Hi All, I've not gotten any nearer to getting a clear answer from the nurses at my fertility clinic so I wanted to check what you think as I still don't know if it was chemical or left over trigger shot. We tried naturally this month but with letrozole and a trigger shot. I took trigger shot on

MRI Scans - changes in Mets
I was diagnosed with mets on spine and pelvis March last year. My oncologist has mostly been relying on CT scans to check progression. In September I reported a tingling in my thigh so had MRI scan to check for spine compression. No compression spotted but the scan did show that the spine met was bigger

COVID
hi everyone. My parent was diagnosed with covid on Wednesday. On Friday it was going to be the first pet scan since the MBC diagnosis in May of 2022 after starting Ibrance and letrozole. The symptoms of covid were very mild and I think getting better each day. I am so nervous for the new rescheduled

Tumor Markers
Hello everyone! First post here but have been reading a lot and found it very helpful. Mets diagnosed back in March of this year. CA 15-3 was tested in my initial work up for restage. My markers have not been tested again. Was wondering what is being followed by other oncologists and how often they

I have pushed for this schedule , my oncologist doesn’t seem too alarmed just wondering if this is a recognised treatment pattern. I am currently

How long does the HCG trigger shot stay in system?
Hi All, I hope you're well. We did a super ovulation cycle with letrozole, trigger shot and natural timed intercourse this month, just as a break in between FETs, and I am wondering how long the trigger shot will stay in my system and show a false positive? I took the trigger shot on Friday 19th

cataract surgery
I had my ophthalmology appointment yesterday and was told I need to have cataract surgery, which explains why driving at night is so bad. Has anyone had cataract surgery? I’m on Ibrance and Letrozole. A little nervous about having the surgery I know it is a very simple surgery but just concerned about

Good results from Verzenio
I was really feeling that Verzenio wasn't working for me. I have been on it just over two cycles and my tumor markers were trending up, up, up. Had a scan Friday, results posted yesterday. I had two cancerous spots: a thickening of the pleura wall, which, over three scans, went from "suspicious," to

First cycle taking Letrozole.
Hello, I’ve just finished my first course of letrozole, I took for 5 days at 5mg per day. Today, after finishing the course on Tuesday and my period finishing Wednesday, I went in for my first scan, unfortunately it didn’t look as though my ovaries were reacting much yet. I’m booked in for another

Results of first scans on Enhertu
hello, As I've posted before regarding a brain mri and abdomen thorax CT earlier this year, with brain mri showing progression in at least 1 lesion and slight progression in liver, I thought I'd post the results of recent scans following a treatment change to enhertu. I met with oncologist last

Lobular Carcinoma Strikes Again.....Ugh!!
Hi there! So, here goes more of my saga. I was diagnosed metastatic in July 0f 2019, three years almost to the day. After my initial diagnosis of 1-0 in my left breast in December of 2012, it spread to my clavicle, hips, both sides of ilium, 7 ribs and L-2 in spine. I took Tamoxifen for the entire

encouraging words from oncologist
hi everyone! I think it would be a great time to share some encouraging words our oncologists have shared with us that maybe will help to inspire others. I think it can be very uplifting to read positives! My parent (ironically my father- men do get breast cancer!) was diagnosed with de novo stage
