Sometimes I feel less good when I stop ibrance for a week. Perhaps the body is working hard to regenerate the cells?

I bought a plug-in warming pad which I lean back against in the evening while watching TV- it is very soothing for my backpain.

That’s really interesting. Thank you for sharing that. I evenly went off Ibrance for 5 weeks. My back hurt a lot. I thought cancer was returning

I’ve been on Letrozole and Ibrance for almost 5 years. The longer you are on the combo, I have found that side effects begin to subside. Hang in there!!!

Thank you Morty. I also get lots of lower back pain but I my case it usually relates to a bladder infection. I am on a Candida diet and my back pain is much better. So that diet eliminates almost all starches and sugars. Hugs Marlene

I too found that the Ibrance seemed to have a leveling effect when I was taking anastrozole. When my onc said I could go off Ibrance, the joint pains from anastrozole--which were already bad--became intolerable within about 3 weeks, and I told my onc I could not live like that. Onc suggested an 8 week break and then Faslodex. It took 6 months for the joint pains to resolve, but they eventually did. A rheumatologist told me that the AI's inflame the synovial membranes around joints, also the same membranes that are around tendons--thus the trigger finger, etc. He says about 50% of those taking the drugs get the joint pains. For me both anastrozole and letrozole also caused severe brain fog and memory loss. Nasty-zole! We deserve better drugs at tolerable doses! Best to you! Kay

Minou82 Stay awRe if that back pain,After Ibrance stopped working for me Fter a year .My bones went from normal to Osteopenia with a hairline fracture lumbar area. Make sure your providers are aware and keeping eye on it. I also use ThermCare and other heat rubs on bad days when Morphine and Oxycodone won't touch it. Good Luck. I will be thinking of you.❤
