Hi , just wondering do any of you have a 3 week on 2 week off ibrancr schedule, I’m on 75mg and have had 24 cycles. Only effect is neuts are regularly low. I have pushed for this schedule , my oncologist doesn’t seem too alarmed just wondering if this is a recognised treatment pattern. I am currently Ned and take letrozole. Any response would be helpful

Inbrance schedule
Yes, I’ve been on 3 on 2 off for about 18 months now. It’s working for me.
I am not on Ibrance. I am on Verzenio which is a sister drug to Ibrance. You will find plenty of answers to our question if you do a search of this site.I am doing alright on this but have taken the summer off from scans because I was feeling well and wanted to enjoy the good weather.
Cheers, June S.
Hello! Very glad that this 5 week schedule is working for you…as long as you c@n tolerate those low neutrophils. What is most important is that you continue to talk to your Onc and stay aware of how you feel. It’s a marathon…and you need to stay strong for the long haul . Best wishes!
So happy that schedule is working for you, especially being on the lowest dose of Ibrance. I have always been on the 3 weeks on, 1 week off and am on 125 mg. I have not had really low neutrophils on this schedule and hope for it to stay that way. I will be on this regime for two years this coming November and so far, so good. Hope you continue to have good results.
I switched to a 3 week on 2 week off schedule for Ibrance 125 mg after I had about 3 months where my neutrophils did not recover enough in one week to restart it. Have been on this schedule about 6 months, on Ibrance for two years . Last scan was clear. Feel better too. Also take Letrozole. My oncologist was fine with it but strangely I had to suggest it. Maybe they want the patient to request switching the schedule do they are not on the hook if something doesn’t go right. 🤣
I am on 75 mg of Ibrance. I do two weeks on two weeks off. This is the only schedule I could tolerate.
I have been on the 3 week on and 1 week off schedule for 2 years. Now I am doing 75 mgs. Usually have to do an extra week off because of the low neutrophils. Last month I was switched to 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off and my levels were better. Not sure if I am comfortable with that, but will do it until the next scan to see how that schedule is working.
Here is an interesting thread started by DragonFly2 a couple days ago. Could be another option to discuss with your Oncologist - healthunlocked.com/share-me...
I am 3/1 on ibrance for one year. Low neutrophils.
Dear Archiedog,
How are you? I have a question. Does that mean that when you are NED you stop Ibrance?
Thnaks for your help
Hi, I’m very well thank you, I think , I feel well but had my 3 monthly scan on Friday so am now in limbo waiting for the results which I was told will take up to 11 weeks 😳. I still take ibrance and letrozole and am hoping this combo continues to keep keep me stable for a very long time to come xx
