b12 shots - type, how much & when??
I had 0.5ml of
methylcobalamin
yesterday. Today I feel no better at all. Actually I feel possibly a little worse and I feel knackered. I'm a carpenter by trade and every day is getting harder and harder to do my job. So my questions are as follows: 1: Did I choose the correct b12?

Hydroxy change to methyl - thoughts?
Struggling with the very stingy hydroxycobalamin (from Intravita) and wondering if I should change to
Methylcobalamin
. Will it be as effective? I don;t mind if its more expensive but the stinging is so awful that Im not sure that I can continue with the hydroxy.

Appropriate Thiamine dose when taking R Alpha Lipoic Acid
I just began using R ALA (600 mg) and
Methylcobalamin
(4 mg) to address peripheral neuropathy and it appears to be benefiting me. I read in a recent reply by Silvestrov that its important to supplement Thiamine when one takes R ALA.

My GP refused to give me referral to cardiologist
Hi Everyone, As the title says, my GP refused to give me a referral to a cardiologist for a second opinion because I was told its anxiety. I had an echocardiogram done and the cardiologist report states there is mild regurgitation in 3 valves. The report says that's normal for my age, and the GP agreed

Mixing Methylcobalamin
I found where B12(
methylcobalamin
form) could be purchased from Oxford Biosciences. I am just concerned about the storage part. Does the B12 come in a vial where the lid can be popped off and you just add the sterile saline? Is the lid the kind you stick your needle into, like a multi use vial?

Hydroxocobalamin or methylcobalamin
I've read that
methylcobalamin
is better to inject than hydroxocobalamin. Has anyone any experience of injecting
methylcobalamin
as I might swap to it. It is more expensive than hydroxocobalamin x6 or 7 times. Is it worth changing???????

Feeling worse during loading shots, is this normal?
I took the first 1ml (
methylcobalamin
- special order as I didn't like the cyano as it had aluminum and parabens as carrier) and within 6 hours I had crazy sinus congestion - so thick I couldn't get it out, which has never been a problem before.

Is MMA ever wrong?
Hi there. I have a good number of symptoms that I believe line up with Pernicious Anemia. Before going to the Dr recently, I would have bet a good bit of money. I got word back that my MMA test came in at .14. What I understand to be a very normal level. Is this test ever wrong? I had read somewhere

Hydroxocobalamin sublinguals really helping, could they help others?
Methylcobalamin
sublinguals made balance worse. Sourced hydroxocobalamin sublinguals from Seeking Health in US. After only half a tablet of 1000mcg, the swimming sensation virtually went and my gait improved. Mouth very sore but so relieved about her other symptoms.

Self-treatment queries
Because I'd have to wait and it seemed that my GP was done with me, I began supplementing with a sublingual 1000 micrograms
methylcobalamin
that evening and have been ever since.

MCV 95.3 fL and MCH level 32.2 pg (27-32) but gp refusing trial of b12 injections
Hi, Would very much appreciate any advice and links about high MCV and MCH to take to gp. Have experienced fatigue, swimming head, severe balance problems and shortness of breath for a year. Serum b12 was 420 then 518 after eating liver regularly. Had been taking methyl b12 but made balance worse, hydroxocobalamin
