Can you take both types of b12 simultaneously?

I’m currently on 1000 mcg cyanocobalamin injections 1x per month. I wanted to buy a multi vitamin (taken by mouth) and it has 8mcg methylcobalamin Included in it along with other assorted vitamins. Does it matter if I choose to do both or should I not for any reason? It also includes folate (not folic acid), does that matter also? My folate levels are always in high range but I do eat a lot of leafy greens. Any advice would be very appreciated. Thank you

Hi Ashley8 I too am on cyanocobamalin 1mg injections (every three weeks) and I use a methylcobamalin oral spray once a day and I'm still "clivealive" and over 75 having had P.A. for 46 years.

You cannot overdose on B12 as any excess to requirement is excreted via your urine.
