Irritability a side effect of B12 injections?
Hello all, I've just had my 5th injection of
methylcobalamin
at home and have been feeling extra irritable, interpreting things in darker ways, and much more weepy. I'm concerned about this. Is this a normal part of the adjustment process?

B12 level is too high?
For the past 4 months I've taken supplement B12
methylcobalamin
, could it be that I've overconsumed B12 vit? I do eat meat fruit veg daily, but not much red meat. It's the first time I have vitamin levels checked cause I thought I might have deficiency.

Can high serum B12 ever become toxic?
I had been injecting an average of 2,000 mcg of
methylcobalamin
every 2-3 days before stopping B12 injections for the past month. I've started getting ringing in my ears again and feeling cognitively impaired since stopping injections.

Vial of 30 ml versus single ampoules
Single ampoules of
methylcobalamin
are very expensive here. Methyl is what my doctors insist I use. Advice?

Very High B12 Serum Level
Initially I was injecting 5000 mcg
methylcobalamin
daily, then dropped down to weekly and had a recurrence of symptoms. I am now at 2000 mcg B12 daily, alternating hydroxocobalamin and
methylcobalamin
every other day. This schedule seems to work well for me.

Vitamin B12 deficiency level 131pg/ml..ya really low
Currently had my 5 shots of
methylcobalamin
every alternate day. But still feeling bit dizzy, confused, imbalanced, tired, also doesn't get proper sleep, tingling & numbness around head, hands & feet. My Doc told me that it will take time to heal. But exactly how much is the question..?

Oral b12 or injections
I tested negative for the intrinsic factor so wondered if I could try oral supplementation of 1000mcg
methylcobalamin
for a while and test out whether I can absorb it. I don’t mind injecting but if I don’t need it I would be far happier taking a tablet a day!

Protocol supports hwp.
I was asked to share my hwp Protocol - I share only because it is supporting him and he is not on any Parkinson medications. Daily Brain (30 day supplement) breakfast prepackaged - inc. grapeseed extract, phosphatidylserine, curcumin, omega-3 EPA/DHA, 10 billion Probiotic. Check out nationalnutrition.ca

Can levels DROP even with B12 injections?
I wondered if it was
Methylcobalamin
versus Cyanocobalamin, but doesn’t seem to make a difference when looking at my body’s response above. Thanks a lot, Anna

advice finding a doctor that will be open to weekly injections
So I would really like to experiment and get more often, maybe even change the b12 to
Methylcobalamin
I see mentioned quite a bit. I'm in Northern California if anybody is local and knows of a caring physician, even if I have to do the injections on my own.

Is
Methylcobalamin
a more effective B12 shot i should be taking? Im new to this. Also im being sent to get a test to confirm my PA diagnosis which i suspect. Will the fact ive started to taking shots effect the results?

Hashi's and low ferritin. Test results advice please
Folate 13.38 (3.89 - 19.45) B12 active 132 (37.5 - 187.5) D3 71.2 (50-175) I take 1000iu D3 + K2 + magnesium glycinate, and a B complex with Folate and B12
methylcobalamin
in it. Ferritin 24.5 (13 - 150) I'm worried about this one, it looks very low in range.

Mannitol in Solgar B12 (Methylcobalamin)
Hi All, If like me you feel ill on Levo' that contains Mannitol, please check your supplements. I realised this morning that my returning thyroid symptoms, that were identical to those I had when on Teva, could be due to the mannitol in my Solgar B12 supplement, not the change in my Levothyroxine manufacturer
