There's only one way to know - switch and see. Try hydroxocobalamin or cyanocobalamin, whichever is easiest to get hold of.

I tried methylcobalamin injections just once. It made me feel terrible - irritable, antsy, just plain 'wrong'. It was so bad I have the rest of the ampoules away.

I only tried oral methyl B12 supplements twice and each time I felt horrible. I was anxious, irritable, depressed, and I couldn't sleep that night. I'll never try it again.

Interestingly methylcobalamin pills, lozenges, sprays and patches do nothing to me - good or bad.

I tried an oral liquid B12. After the second try I threw out the bottle.
