Where to buy B12 in USA?
I struck out looking a few months back. don't think my doctor will prescribe. anyone have decent luck and reasonable delivery times? other forms besides cyano? i think i would only need the single dose vials. could buy insulin needles anywhere i believe. i'm still on the fence about multi vials. i

Why do I need to also supplement with a folate or a Complex B vitamin when supplementing with B12?
I supplement with B12 (level 593 ng/L, ref range: 10-120. result of 1000mcg sublingual vitamin B12
Methylcobalamin
2 times a week) but take no folate (nor other B complex), given my folate is normal (16.8 ng/ml ref range: > 2.7).

An increase in the conversion of DOPAC to HVA might be due to excessive supplementation of S-adenosyl methionine (S-ame) and/or supplements suchas methyltetrahydrofolate or
methylcobalamin
that increase endogenous Sam-e].

Difference Between Hydroxo, Cyano, and Methyl cobalamin
My question - what's the best route to take - hydroxo-, cyano-, or
methylcobalamin
? I had no idea there were different 'versions' of b12 until educating myself on this board (great resource btw).

Degradation of B12 shots after opening new box
Hi everyone, My need for
methylcobalamin
is straightforward. When I inject a fresh and potent vial of B12, 90 to 100 % of my symptoms resolve. Five hours later, they return, and I need a new shot. I’ve done everything in my power to enhance my B12 retention/storage but this is where I am right now.

Cyanocobalamin & Methylcobalamin Injections
I took a genetics test and the test specifically suggested that my body needs the
methylcobalamin
type B12. I was given a 3 month supply (weekly) of the Cynanocobalamin so i figured id use it. After the 3 month supply is over im gonna switch over to just taking
methylcobalamin
.

Where to buy syringes/b12? self injection
i'm trying to eliminate a b12 deficiency from "my list". the fastest and probably cheapest way to do this is by self injecting. bypassing the clueless doctors, bad tests, and expense of office visits for injections. i found this site online https://perniciousanemia.org/ for about $4/day (they send powdered

3yrs later and Active B12 Results
Q is, if my intake of
Methylcobalamin
is 2000microgrammes a day plus 1 Hydroxycobalamin injection one week before the test, would you be surprised to see active B12 at the levels below? On the day of the test I had not yet taken the daily sublingual.

Severe facial pain
Has anyone had a similar reaction -- severe facial pain -- as I have from cyano cobalamin,
methylcobalamin
, hydroxocobalamin in all forms (oral, sublingual, injection, etc.)? I have not tried adenosylcobalamin. Any reason this might be better? Any help would be welcome.

5000mcg B12
I have been self injecting
methylcobalamin
subcutaneously with prefilled 1ml syringes that I purchase from a local naturopath. It recently came to my attention that the strength of the B12 is 5000mcg. That seems really high. I believe the dosage should be 1000mcg per 1ml.
