How much B12?
I've been taking hydroxycobalamin, adenosylcobalamin and
methylcobalamin
at a combined dose of around 10 mg. The initial side effects subsided and the symptoms lessened, but I plateaued.

Methylcobalamin
Degenerative neurological conditions are where
methylcobalamin
shows its greatest benefits over other cobalamin preparations. Brilliant news for MS’ers! Not only has
Methylcobalamin
been shown to work in neurologic diseases, it also helps with the elimination of toxic substances in the body.

MTHFR compound heterozygous mutation
I decided to supplement 1000mcg
methylcobalamin
per day and take a B complex too. My question is what levels of B12 would you expect to see in someone who takes 1000mcg per day? I would imagine that they'd be quite high (1000+?)

Methylcobalamin injections, strange symptoms?
Hi, I have recently started self injecting
methylcobalamin
. The first 2 weeks have been amazing and I have gone from basically bedridden to being able to climb the stairs without help, go for walks and start living again.

Methylcobalamin
I have been doing daily subcutaneous injections for about 10 days now and just noticed a red mark from this morning's injection. It does not feel warm to touch but is approx. 2 x 1cms. Has anyone else experienced this? I have taken care to clean the bottle prior to injections and it has not happened

High serum b12. Is sublingual necessary?
I've been taking my B12 (adenosylcobalamin,
methylcobalamin
and a little hydroxycobalamin) sublingually, but I was wondering if my high serum B12 (750) means that my problem isn't getting the B12 into serum.

Self injecting methylcobalamin
Hi, I am just looking for some advice with regards to self injecting. I have low B12 and fed up with arguing with doctors. Anyway I have some insulin injections with 29G 1/2 inch needle and also the longer 23G 1.25 needles if necessary. Some people seem to say the insulin injections work just as well

Vitamin B12 I supplemented B12 (
methylcobalamin
) on the advice of my endo but my levels didn’t increase on this and so I discontinued the supplement. Since my diet has improved (I eat a lot of fish and meat) the B12 levels look like they have gone up on their own.

Best place to source injectable hydroxocobalamin
I had bee on it but my GP took me off (see other posts) and have been taking
methylcobalamin
but I think hydroxocobalamin suits me better. I know some of you get it from Germany, I know how to take it so German instructions not an issue, Thanks

Advice please - I am very worried about my neuro symptoms
However, I went on to
methylcobalamin
every other day (as per instructed). Had a rough week with severe headaches/numb face. Started to wonder if I could be sensitive to this. Began to feel better last week, but since Sunday have had really week legs.

Been on injections over 2 weeks, improving but very slowly - advice please
Hi I've been on
methylcobalamin
over 2 weeks (had 10 hydroxocobalamin doses before that but my GP stopped them as he thinks I'm crazy!). First week of
methylcobalamin
was hell, severe headaches and numbness on my face, vision problems, weakness in my legs.

B12 and nails
I started on a small dose of
methylcobalamin
and methyl folate. I've always had awful nails, breaking and wearing down very quickly, but noticed that my thumb nails were becoming very strong.

Increased anxiety unable to sleep last night.
Hello, So I began taking the Jarrows B12
Methylcobalamin
5000mcg losenges yesterday, and last night my anxiety went through the roof. I couldn't sleep, my heart felt like it was racing, my stomach is upset. Is this normal? Does this go away? Or does this mean my body can't handle the B12?

if you where in the UK could anyone tell me where you can get it from, I used to get it from a private doctor who isn't around anyone and don't want to pay that kind of money again just to get methyl so if you could

Methylcobalamin photolysis and side effects?
I almost dread to ask this, but for the people who suffered side effects from
methylcobalamin
, had the vitamin been exposed to light? I'm wondering if that is a factor in creating impurities and causing side effects (particularly acne). I'm just not sold on the detox explanation.

Methylcobalamin, is it safe for children
The more I read about it the more I am worried and I have bought some
methylcobalamin
drops in purified water (about 800 mg dose) which I am now trialling gently as I have numerous food allergy / intolerance problems.
