IBrance Vacation?
I’ve been on IBrance 100 and Anastrozole for three years and my scans so far have shown stable disease. I’ve tried to stay active with golf and walking. We took a trip to Texas and it was go go go for a week, one can say I have nothing to complain about…however, my tumor markers have been rising for

Thromboxane & Aspirin
(
Metastasis
is dependent on unwanted coagulation. This is why I use nattokinase to dissolve unwanted clots, and the D-dimer test to ensure that there are no active clots.) It is well-known that low-dose aspirin can inhibit platelet aggregation - a necessary step for clot formation.

Xeloda and Afinitor in lieu of Piqray
Hi everybody-had a horrible go with Piqray and the oncologist has taken me off but given me no alternative or solution. In seeking out a second opinion I’ve been told to inquire about Xeloda and Afinitor. Just curious if anyone has experience with these as they don’t specifically target the PIK3CA gene

Back into the operating room, today.
Whilst doing pre-op scans, a
metastasis
was found in my skull. Next week I have to hear what the radiology oncologist has to tell me about what he has in store for me! Radiology is extremely scary to me. Just saying -----

Must manage your own healthcare
Hi everyone! I’m Jennifer. Found my breast cancer because God gave me an itch right on top of my tumor. It was 26mm and not seen on the 3D mammogram. I now tell everyone I know that women cannot rely on mammograms to find breast cancer. Must do regular self exams. Had double mastectomy and found macrometatastisis

A little change
I haven't written for a while as busy getting our new home in order and taming the jungle of a garden. I'm loving living in the Scottish Highlands with so much to explore.I've been stable for some time on letrozole and ibrance 125mg. I have a lovely oncologist in Inverness and support from the Macmillan

Mom doing great with Faslodex with trial med
Happy Friday everyone! My Mom had her second Faslodex injections yesterday and has almost no soreness at site. Yay! She is also very energetic and feels well. She’s thinks maybe the treatment is making her even more energetic than usual (she’s very active and a young 77yrs) lol 😆 She’s involved

Metastatic breast cancer
I have been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer but right now my scans are NED. I have taken 51 doses of hormone related drugs. I also have osteoporos which is related to the cancer. I would like to know if it is safe to take collagen while I am on Ibrance and Letrozole .

How long should I continue with bicalutamide after radiotherapy?
I was Gleason 3 +4, negative bone and CT scans, and although my Decipher score was a disappointing 68, it forecast that with radiotherapy I have a 9% chance of
metastasis
in 10 years and a 12% chance of mortality in 15 years. Now age 81 with no serious comorbidities, I like these odds.

adt & radiation
On scale of 1 to 5 I was rated a 1 meaning no evidence of
metastasis
. My oncologist was adamant that psa to low at 0.22 and pushed elligard 22.5 mg along with radiation. I was nervous and agreed to treatment plan.
