Hey everyone, just discovered this site. Great info and support. I had RP in August of 2022. First psa test was 0.1, month later psa 0.8 month later psa 0.22 Psa remained at 0.22 for next 3 months. My urologist who did RP said it could be "reactive lymph nodes". A CT scan and bone scan revealed nothing. A psma pet was done from my chin to my knees. Report stated no evidence of PC. On scale of 1 to 5 I was rated a 1 meaning no evidence of metastasis. My oncologist was adamant that psa to low at 0.22 and pushed elligard 22.5 mg along with radiation. I was nervous and agreed to treatment plan. Wondering now if I should have gotten second opinion which I usually get for any medical procedure I am a 54 year old male. Anyone have similar situation or opinion either way?

Were there adverse features on the pathology report such as positive margins? Did you have a decipher test??

Scans are not very good at finding cancerous lymph nodes.PSMA PET scans have only a 40% sensitivity - lots of false negatives. You clearly had cancer after prostatectomy - I'm hopeful that the radiation plus hormone therapy was able to get the rest of it.
