Good morning beautiful ladies 😀 This week I started my Taxol and Herceptin cocktail. Being my cancer mutated from HER2 low to HER2 positive with progression to liver this seems like the most head on approach. This is certainly a drastic change from what I was experiencing on Ibrance and Letrozole

Blood work before radiation and elevated liver enzymes
PMSA PET scan in July was negative for
metastasis
He had lab work done yesterday and his GGT, AST, ALT were all elevated quite a bit. His PSA is still <0.1 He does take medication for High Blood Pressure, but that is it.

anyone else feel wierd after discontinuing Piqray / Faslodex?
Hi all, my docs took me off Piqray and Faslodex a week ago. Since then I’ve had worse night sweats and diarrhea then when I was on the drugs! Plus a lingering headache and overall yucky feeling. I assumed it would resolve after a couple days but it’s been a full week. Has anyone else experienced that

Reacting to piqray.
Don’t want to worry anyone, but just wanting to know if anyone has had this reaction to Piqray. I’m into my second week. On Piqray and Fulvestrant. At first I thought it was only my bottom, (left side) near site of injection, that was itchy. Then I started feeling a prickly feeling all over my body.

Post surgery pathology report
Does it means that it will eventually and inevitably create
metastasis
or possibly not. Also the report mention that emphesyma was detected, this was also quite a shock since i quit smoking 25 years ago and am to this day very active with a dayly 25km bike ride. Thank you for sharing Christian

Update: post-radiation and New meds
Hello Friends and warriors! Dragonfly is updating the latestest treatment... Radiation to the sacrum and L5 (10 treatments) ended on Dec 4th but since then I've had a rollercoaster of side effects...mostly stiffness and muscle spasms that catch me unawares when I get up or sit down. I truly thought

Need to Change Treatment
So I have progression after two years on Ibrance and Letrozole. I have an opportunity to participate in a clinical trial in my town in which I would be randomly assigned to Giredestrant, a promising oral SERD (monotherapy) or both Giredestrant with a new Pikc3a drug. My standard of care option would

Importance of ADT
Only in the face of continued PSA rise and
metastasis
did I demand and was finally prescribed ADT. The urologist said the initial prostate radiation had failed because I might be "radio-resistant".

Prostate Cancer Diet and Re-purposed Meds
The theory is, weakening cancer growth and
metastasis
thru diet, specific nutraceuticals and re-purposed medications (Starving), then using another protocol of the same just listed, to promote ferroptosis, death by iron, starving the amino acid cysteine, and utilizing oxygen (Kill).

My journey thus far
Cancer currently contained within the prostate, no
metastasis
detected. Retest for PSA was 24.8 so no major changes in PSA since October.
January 2024:
Visit with a medical oncologist. Essentially said I have a high risk prostate cancer but good that it hasn't spread beyond the gland.

Radiation after triple therapy?
My thought is to use RT to control
metastasis
and prevent future fractures. Is this a good time in my treatment to begin RT? Thoughts on other therapies or approaches? Thanks for your responses! This site has been a God send.
