Post surgery pathology report
Does it means that it will eventually and inevitably create
metastasis
or possibly not. Also the report mention that emphesyma was detected, this was also quite a shock since i quit smoking 25 years ago and am to this day very active with a dayly 25km bike ride. Thank you for sharing Christian

Prostate Cancer Diet and Re-purposed Meds
The theory is, weakening cancer growth and
metastasis
thru diet, specific nutraceuticals and re-purposed medications (Starving), then using another protocol of the same just listed, to promote ferroptosis, death by iron, starving the amino acid cysteine, and utilizing oxygen (Kill).

My journey thus far
Cancer currently contained within the prostate, no
metastasis
detected. Retest for PSA was 24.8 so no major changes in PSA since October.
January 2024:
Visit with a medical oncologist. Essentially said I have a high risk prostate cancer but good that it hasn't spread beyond the gland.

Mastectomy after 7 years of MBC
I have had MBC for 7 years still on my first line of treatment (Ibrance/Letrozole) my PET scan in September showed the tumor in my breast has increased in size and the cancer has gone into a lymph node under my armpit. Today I met with a surgeon and will have a double mastectomy in early January. My

Tumour marker
I have been in Ibrance, Letrozole and six monthly Denusomab shots for 3 years and 9 months with NEADs from the first Pet scan. C15.3 and CEA have fluctuated within the normal range since. PET scan in Sep 23 also showed NEADs. Recent bloods in Thursday showed c15.3 rise to above the normal range

Gray area between aggressive contained and Mestasized
This only means that any
metastasis
is smaller than two or three millimeters in size and below the resolution of the scans. I had a significant hemorrhage the following day while touring a senior living center (we did not join).

Radiation after triple therapy?
My thought is to use RT to control
metastasis
and prevent future fractures. Is this a good time in my treatment to begin RT? Thoughts on other therapies or approaches? Thanks for your responses! This site has been a God send.

Confusing news from oncologist
After 2 rounds of chemo, his PSA rose to 153, we saw some increase in his bone
metastasis
as according to the scans (posted about this previously). My dad has not been able to continue treatment yet due to severe pain, lack of mobility and several hospital stays.

Xeloda and Zoladex?
Hi everyone, hoping someone can help clear this up for me. Last week I shifted to Xeloda from Piqray. I asked my oncologist about whether I continue with monthly shots of Zoladex, which are administered by my GP, and she seemed a bit unsure, then said no. I left the hospital without much confidence and

Decision time!
After finding out I had progression to my liver in July and acute side effects to Everolimus after only 6 weeks, I have been advised there is further progression to my liver. So I now face the dilemma of no treatment and at best 6 months, or choice of chemo. My oncologist has given me 3 options, oral

Adjuvant ADT
Tumor was slightly outside the prostate, but no
metastasis
. Got ADT (june 2021) and two weeks later external RT (35x2.2; prostate only; 24 months ). Almost immediately PSA dropped from 4.2. to less than 0.1 and has stayed that way since. Apart from urinary problems and ED no side-effects.
