urinary bother duration
after SBRT and now in my final months of lupron, i still have frequency of urination at night. I had spaceOAR inserted before SBRT. Now at eight months, i was hoping the frequency at night 3-4 times would have abated. Have treat oxybutinin. Nothing. Have tried Gemtesa and it practically closed down

darolutamide without Lupron?
Has anyone tried darolutamide without doing Lupron? Seems like that would help to treat PCa without lowering T-levels. I realize that the standard protocol is doing Lupron first, followed by darolutamide second (if needed).

Follow up to "My trajectory after a 'vacation' and a new metastasis," and a new question
I though that the recommendation of the "tumor board" at Smilow Cancer Center in New Haven, CT, would be "doublet therapy" to treat the new metastasis that was found with a PET PSMA scan, (the second one that was found after my Lupron "vacation"; the first was treated with radiation--details of my case

More to deal with. Early birthday gift I guess.
I get all my shots as soon as they are available. Besides, Lupron had current flu, covid and RVS. Thought I must have caught flu and but feeling different about it. Worst sore throat every and continually spit phlegm and spittle. Went to our local ER and came up with the winner, COVID! Caught it

Concern - At 4 mo on Lupron/Abi, Testosterone hits 40
While PSA was again <.1 yesterday, testosterone jumped to 40 ng/dl or 1.4 nmole/L, which is a big move toward the 1.7 danger zone for faster movement toward CRPC ( https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5472467/ ) , and I am interested

Testosterone was nearly back to normal, then dropped
I had a year of Lupron and Enzalutamide in 2022. Testosterone slowly came back to a high of about 240 in June and Sept 2023. Normal for me is around 350 - 375. Now this week T is down to 156. Is this sort of fluctuation normal? I had 6 months of ADT in connection with radiation for recurrent PCa

Lupron Injection denied by Medicare Advantage PPO plan
My husband will need Lupron injections monthly x4. Two before starting radiation, and 2 during radiation treatment. The insurance, Medicare Advantage PPO, denied it. Anyone successfully appealed the denial? Any suggestions from the group? I checked and Medicare part D covers Lupron for the treatment

What does this mean?
In preparation for my six month follow up to radiation and two months since the end of 6 months of Lupron on Thursday I got my blood work results via the portal. For the first time ever I went to the portal for the lab and pulled up my results. Maybe I should not have done that. So I would like your

Becoming mCRPC despite falling PSA
Hey guys, I got a question regarding my dad. He was diagnosed in summer 2022 with stage 4, Gleason 4+4, PSA of 122 and many osteoblastic bone metastases throughout the whole skeleton (very high volume) He did the triplet therapy, which lowered his PSA to 0.4 (January 2023). Scans afterwards stated

Recovery of Testosterone
We all have heard about how long it takes to recover testosterone after you stop ADT. You probably also heard how age affects recovery time. The older you are the longer it takes and the T may never recover. The type of ADT you take can also affect recovery time - shot versus pill. I am 78 and I have

Sciatica
I went off ADT 9 months ago after 6 months of Elegard depot treatment following prostate radiation. I know that many of the side effects of ADT can persist months and even years after stopping Elegard (Lupron). But I seem to have developed new symptoms (breast sensitivity and sciatica) 6 months after

Stopping Lupron
Today I’ve had my next medical check. PSA still undetectable after RT IMRT/VMAT to prostate bed and pelvic floor accompanied by 24 months of Lupron. This was my third regimen after DXed in 11/2017, for more details pls refer to my bio. I will now stop Lupron, let’s see what the future will bring.

PC no longer castrate resistant
Hello all, my latest pet/ct scan indicates my PC is no longer castrate resistant as there is new disease growth in my lungs. Largest lesion is 2.5 centimeters. I'm no longer taking xtandi, so it can be "washed out" of my system prior to new treatment, however I'm still getting quarterly lupron shots
