Create IVF/ICSI - One mild IVF cycle Vs Three Cycle embryo banking. Pros and Cons?
Hi Everyone I hope you are ok, I have spoken with Create fertility one cycle is £6265 and a three cycle is about £18k - (so saving 795) To me that price is eye wateringly expensive? Question: Is the benefit of doing the three cycle just time? I am concerned that my embryo/blastocyst rate is poor

Multiple periods while on the PO pill
Hey everyone! I've been on Desogestrel (progesterone only pill) for about 5 weeks now to try and control my pain and bleeding while I wait for my excision surgery. I've had a lot of spotting but yesterday I came on a very heavy period only 8 days after finishing my last period and I'm wondering if

Norethisterone Tablets, pain
I’ve been prescribed Norethisterone to control heavy periods but since being on them my lower abdomen feels heavy like there’s pressure. Has anyone else experienced this?

Pain Relief/Transemic acid
Hi I have deep bowel and rectal bleeding on my periods and severe pain. I take the pill back to back so usually only have a period every four months and the symptoms return. However I have had a period early Jan and then one for the last two weeks which isn’t stopping. Paracetamol doesn’t help

Bleeding before egg retrieval
Coming week, we will have a new puncture (egg retrieval) and yesterday I started bleeding heavily. It is like a very heavy period. I was expecting the injections to delay the period, at least that is what happened in the previous IVF cycle. I talked to the doctor and also a nurse today on the phone and

Bleed after failed cycle
We had our first IVF cycle which unfortunately was unsuccessful. I was spotting for a few days before our tests which were both negative but have been bleeding for 6 days now, and I feel it’s getting heavier than lighter. My normal bleeds are 3-4 days max and I’m done, I am assuming lining is thicker

Worried I started progynova too early for FET - Has anyone else felt this way?
Help...I was advised by the clinic to start progynova on day 1 of my period. My periods are only ever 2 days long. When I went to bed at night there were signs of my period, normally that means my heavier day will be the next day, my day 1. So I started my meds the next morning. However, it feels like

Confused and sad
Hey everyone, Needed to reach out to you lovely people as feeling so sad, disappointed and confused. Totally got my hopes up this week as my period is over a week late - managed to convince myself that miracles had happened. But no, took a test this morning and it's a big fat negative. Wondered if

from period pain to daily pain
I have had severe period pain for years and take naproxen 500mg every month which stops it getting severe. I then got period pain the week before my period, a couple days occasionally after my period, then occasionally it would happen randomly throughout the month and now for about 2 weeks it’s been

Decapeptyl injection with Tibolone HRT
Hi there, I went to the GP for extreme emotions and pain around my periods, and severe cramps/bleeding induced when exercising. I was put on an 6 year waiting list (Northern Ireland) so had to pay for private healthcare to see a gynaecologist. I was given the first monthly dose of decapeptyl on

Irregular period after failed IVF
I've just turned 44. I started IVF last year Jan and Feb and although I had high quality eggs both transfers failed. My periods were generally 21-35 days long and I hate a period every month. After IVF my periods have been unpredictable. The first few months were okay but when I was due to start again

Could I have Endometriosis?
Hi, I was diagnosed with PCOS at 21 after years of horrific periods. I had the mirena coil fitted for 6 years. No periods, but did get random crippling pains throughout the month and spotting. Had the coil removed July 2022. For the first 6 months my periods were perfect. On time, one/two days of bleeding

Could it be endometriosis...?
Hi, bit of background - I'm 40, I've been trying to conceive for about 4 years. Started IVF treatment 2 years ago and had 2 failed rounds with the last one being June last year. Since then I've had super super painful periods, almost to the point of passing out with the pain. I get pain in my right upper
