bleeding post-op

I had endometriosis removed from ovaries about 7 weeks ago. I started bleeding just under 2 weeks ago, not heavy, but enough to fill a pantiliner & bright red. Doctor not concerned, but has booked a scan for a couple of weeks time to check. I have read periods can be longer, heavier etc after & they took me off the mini pill last week. Just out of interest did anyone else bleed for longer after surgery? What were their periods like? Thanks in advance x

Hi there! My period arrived bang on schedule after my last lap, it wasn't heavy and it was bright red too. Lasted about four days, which is normal for me. Fingers crossed the next one that's due in a few days is the same and not painful!

Hi, it's almost been 6 weeks since my op now and i had the coil fitted at the same time. I was on my period at the time of lap and i bled for about 2 weeks afterwards. My first period after that arrived on time but lasted much longer than usual (12 days) and am now kind of spotting if I've been more active x
