Newly diagnosed and confused?

Hii! New here and I've recently been diagnosed with endo after months of irregular periods and cramps. However, now that I have this diagnosis, I don't feel "ill enough". Like I can't say I have this condition because there people out there who suffer worse with it.

My endo is most likely stage 1 or 2 (not entirely sure). I don't suffer from excruciating pain, but I do get cramps occasionally throughout the month and painkiller-worthy pain before and during my period. I'm planning to get the injection though to see if that can help.

Yet despite that, I feel like I don't have a right to say I have this condition?

This is good news. You need to take time to process stuff and focus on your health and lifestyle now. Endometriosis is a strange disease as it can flare up and down throughout your life. Knowing you have it early is empowering and you can help yourself. I didn't have any pain for years but it was slowly fusing my organs together. I'm 50 now with stage 4 and peri menopause made it much worse. Look after yourself and monitor your symptoms xx

I can completely identify with this. I've been diagnosed with stage 4 endo and have been offered a total hysterectomy. I don't feel like my symptoms need such drastic surgery but know that things could get worse very quickly. It's so difficult to know what to do for the best.
