Anybody with good results on Xeloda?
I was on Ibrance and Letrozole, then Verzenio and Faslodex and then Orserdu. Since Orserdu now failed, the next plan is Xeloda. I read here some reports about some bad side effects. My oncologist at Dana Farber gave me some choices and indicated that in my situation, Xeloda might be best. The

AF at night
hi, a brief history, I have Paroxysymal Attial fibrillation which started 2 and a half years ago. I had an ablation in December and since then I have had two episodes waking me up in the middle of the night which have lasted 40 and 20 minutes respectively and gone back into sinus rhythm without intervention

From a Carer’s Perspective
hello to all in the oesophageal cancer community. not necessarily a community that anyone would particularly choose to be in but also comforting to know others are in the same situation. my husband was diagnosed with stage 2 OG in September 2023. he has had four chemo sessions and is due to have surgery

3 months ago I was informed of a new suspicious nodule in my left lung. Since then I have lived a mental nightmare knowing that its growth on the next scan would mean another cancer or more likely and worst, the distant recurrence of my first lung cancer (resected with my right lower lobe in April

PIP ASSESSMENT
Had my pip re-assessment over the phone yesterday. A nurse did it and she was really nice and put me at ease. She didn't ask questions that weren't reasonable relating to my fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, ADHD etc.

That graveyard guy
I had a panic attack come on quite suddenly and it was intense. I started to feel overwhelmed, just way too much at once, and living in a little village I am blessed to be able to call the local cops to come chat (or EMS if it comes to it). We have a new police chief so the officer that came to speak

PSMA/PET SCAN methodology
I'm having PSMA next week and am confused a little about the equipment used. In all my reading about the test, a CT or MRI is used in conjunction with the PSMA Pet, When I looked at my upcoming test on the portal it says PET SKULLBASE TO MIDTHIGH NOPR SUBSEQUENT. That tells me it's a PET Scan and

Hi Ladies as you know I have already posted that I have started treatment for a 2nd recurrence of my Stage 2 OC. I was diagnosed in 2021 and had surgery and 6 cycles of successful Chemo. I started to feel unwell around October time with upper right back pain. CT and MRI were clear. CA125 did start

panic attacks
This afternoon I had my regular meeting with my wellbeing practitioner, I described one of my “anxiety “ episodes that I had last week. It turns out that I actually had a panic attack! So not only do I have anxiety and depression but now I get panic attacks!

A potential game-changer for CAR T cell therapy: mutations in cancer engineered to beat cancer
CAR T therapy has been successful in some acute blood cancers. Response rates, however, are considerably lower in CLL and solid tumours, with T cell exhaustion and antigen escape being shared issues. A potentially game-changing advance in solid tumour CAR T technology may therefore be relevant to CAR
