hi just a follow up just got the results of my abdominal and pelvic CT scan (with contrast) and all normal, great to get this back and thankful! Symptoms still the same, bloating, upper left pain, gurgling, belching and some nausea. Colonoscopy Thursday but since I had one three years ago GP is expecting that to be normal too. Whilst I happy I’m frustrated that I don’t have a clue what’s causing my symptoms! GP saying IBS but I don’t have and answer how to fix it.. any tips would be appreciated 🙏

Hi, so pleased your test results were all fine. The anxiety may have been exasperating your symptoms, IBS is often closely linked with anxiety, so I hope things begin to settle down for you now. If not there are lots of tips on this forum to try with your diet to help with wind and nausea. Take it gently and good luck.

Thank you for your kind words. I agree anxiety can be a big player in increasing our perception of pain etc. I think all of us on this forum are on a journey. It’s important that we always speak with our GP and get things checked out …. Ultimately knowing there is no serious issues helps your anxiety immensely.
